This spectacular vacation getaway was completed in 2005 and is situated on the Lake Rescue waterfront with its own deep water dock for swimming, fishing and boating. This highly energy efficient home with gas in-floor radiant heat. Large custom windows afford breathtaking views of the mountains and lake. The granite and stainless steel chef's kitchen is the perfect gathering place for family and friends to enjoy some quality time together. Enjoy the ambiance of a gas fireplace after a great day skiing or a cool summer night. Three levels of decking provide private corners to enjoy a book or large areas to entertain and dine on the water. Cross country skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, ice fishing and ice skating are all at your doorstep. From the lake you have access to the Vermont VAST snow mobile trails as well as the opportunity to create your own cross-country ski trails. You are 3 miles from Jackson Gore Resort, so dining and golf is at hand.

The ultimate escape

Excellent communication between the owner and ourselves. Professional and personal at the same time. This was more than you would ever expect. We needed an escape from the real world for the weekend, and this was everything we needed and more. Beautiful home, anything and everything you would need is at your finger tips. We had no need to leave for anything, (of course we did bring our own supplies with us). The views were breathtaking. This allowed us to just unwind and take time to recharge again for our demanding lives. We hope to have the opportunity to escape here again in the future!

An Amazing Mini-Vacation!

My friends and I spent the weekend in VT to go skiing and were delighted when we arrived at this house! The kitchen and living room were an open space making it perfect to talk, play games, etc. The kitchen appliances were all brand new and the entire house was just gorgeous, especially the master suite. There was a folder full of local information/tips, which was very helpful since it rained the first day. The house is located about 5 minutes away from Okemo mountain, just far away from town that it's peaceful but not so far you can't run to the store, etc. And most importantly the owner was a pleasure to work with. My only disappointment is that it's not available to rent in the summer:(
Owner's Response: Amber was a very good guest and a pleasure to deal with, they left the house as they found it, clean. No problems, would like to Amber and her group back next winter.

We were fortunate to be able to stay in this beautiful home
for an entire month this fall. The home was well equiped with everything you could possibly need.
The views from every window as well as all three decks were spectacular! I especially enjoyed watching and listening to the Loons on the lake. We were within driving distance of most attractions and took many day trips. For my husband and myself, this was an unforgetable vacation !

This thoughtfully designed home was created to take advantage of the gorgeous lake views out every window. The well-equipped kitchen had top-of-the-line appliances and could handle more than one chef at a time. The master suite was huge and we loved the blue bathroom. The second two bedrooms were small, yet conveniently located on the lower lake level, ensuring privacy from the rest of the house. My boys enjoyed having their own family room so close to their bedrooms. Our stay at this Lake Rescue home really enhanced our trip and we look forward to returning.

Great House, Great access to Okemo and Killington!

This property is conveniently located MINUTES from the base of Okemo and very reasonably close to Killington mtn. The town of Ludlow provides simple access to grocery stores, gas stations, and liquor stores. The house itself was great. The owner and manager communicated quickly and effectively. The place was clean, well laid out, and very cool overall with an amazing kitchen and very group-friendly living spaces. We'd definitely stay here again in the summer months when Lake Rescue isn't frozen solid!
