We are approximately 4 miles from some of the most gorgeous beaches in Florida and charming downtown Venice. A day trip to the tree lined downtown area will afford you with a variety of boutiques, antiquing, dining, wonderful park with tennis courts, at times concerts and other activities. The Venice 'Jetty' is a favorite spot for celebrating the setting of the sun and watching for dolphins. Just down the beach to play, dance and share music. It is a don't miss' experience for young and old. Golf courses abound in Venice and surrounding towns.(Call ahead for the times and play requirements.) If you prefer walking, you are only a few blocks from grocery shopping, restaurants, specialty stores and the health park. Sarasota, just miles north, is one of the cultural centers of Florida with the Van Wezel Theatre, Mote Marine Laboratories, the Ringling Museum of Art and many more attractions and of course, the spectacular bay front park and marina on US 41.
I-75 is only a few miles away and this major highway can make day trips to Disney Theme Parks, Sea World, Tampa, Ft. Myers and Naples an easy drive. All water sports and activities, golf, tennis and other activities are also within a short drive. (We have a short list of attractions, parks, beaches, etc. with directions to these spots available.) There are activities for all ages and interests in and around Venice/Sarasota. Once here, you won't want to leave!
