Our family found Brooke Haven after the home we used to rent for 25 years in Ellison Bay went up for sale. We were very glad to have located Brooke Haven through the web site.. The home is beautifully decorated with hardwood floors. It seemed as if every member of our family was able to have their own area to get away between the family room, living room, 3 season porch, and lovely yard. Our sons especially enjoyed the back yard for games of bags, and the bikes were used almost daily. Our 1 and a half year old grandson even started to say "home" when we would pull into the driveway.
My husband and I located a new beach while we were at Brooke Haven. Our sons knew of it, but my husband and I couldn't believe after all these years we would discover a new beach. It's the Liberty Grove town beach. Start out at Brooke Haven and turn left at the Pioneer store. Keep going straight to the T. Turn left at the T and go a block or so where you turn right into the beach. The beach is all sand, and shallow for a long way out, There is a nice shaded area, and great for all ages.
Our favorite restaurants are The Viking in Ellison Bay, and The Ice Cream Factory in Sister Bay.
We do higfhly recommend staying at Brooke Haven.
