Located in Park Forest Estates, above Main St, near Peak 8 base. Steps from the shuttle to Town/Ski Area (Peak 8 a two minute shuttle ride) and the Nordic Center with 30 groomed x-country trails. Steps away from either the 4 O'clock Ski Run, which accesses the Snow Flake lift or the new Skyway Skiway and the new Gondola, set to be completed for the 2006 ski season. Activities: Winter: Downhill skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing, snowmobiling, dog-sledding, ice skating. Your Breckenridge ski pass is good at various local ski resorts. In addition, Copper Mountain, Vail and Beaver Creek, Keystone and A-Basin are all within 1 hour of Breckenridge. The Nordic Center is steps from the unit, with cross country skiing trails. Summer: Golf, hiking, rafting, fly fishing, horseback riding, rock climbing, historic walks, historic train rides.

Great ski vacation home

I stayed at this rental home in mid January 2009 with my husband, sister, her husband, and their two children. The house was very welcoming and offered plenty of space and all the amenities we needed. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of space to spread out. The kitchen was fully stocked with cooking equipment to stay in for dinners, but it was also a short drive into town to enjoy dinner out. Everything was close and convenient. We enjoyed the hot tub on the porch. Most importantly for us, it was a good location to the slopes. A five minute walk took us to the free shuttle that brought us to the base of peak 8 in minutes. The shuttle was never full, even on the busiest day. Getting back at the end of the day was just as easy. Once back at the house, the view from the living room was stunning. I would definitely stay here again!
