Summer activities include golfing at world-class golf courses, canoeing or kayaking (rentals available), swimming or sunning at the beach, hiking, biking to Petoskey, Charlevoix or through the famous “tunnel of trees”,sailing, fishing, shopping, antiquing, art shows, entertainment, live theatre, restaurants, ferry to Beaver Island, boat to Mackinac Island or stroll through historic Wequetonsing. We just returned from 1 week at the condo and LOVED it! It was elegantly furnished and impeccably clean. The kitchen was nicely equipped with appliances, dishes, and cookware. It was nice having a lockable 1 car garage with ample room for bicycles. The full-size washer and dryer were very useful, too. In a nutshell, it was like staying in a 4-star B&B... that you had entirely to yourself. However, before you arrive, be sure to pick up some staples (soap, groceries, etc).

The location was within walking distance to downtown's shops and stores as well as the older Wequetonsing neighborhood. Be sure to take time to stroll by the historic homes -- each are unique examples of vintage architecture. Some are breathtaking! Enjoy the restaurants in town -- including The New York Restaurant and the Pier -- and pick up Michigan's best at American Spoon Foods. Forgot your outdoor gear? Stop by The Outfitter with the best outfits around. Then drive or bike to Leggs Inn in Cross Village -- awesome drive through the tunnel of trees and beautiful homes!

We certainly hope to be back next year (or sooner)!
