Thank you so much for providing us a wonderful and inviting abode during our recent visit to wine country. Your house was lovely, and with all of the comforts of home -- Kohler appliances, Heath ceramics, antique tables, comfy beds/linens, and even a screwpull wine opener! You've
put a lot of love into the place and it shows. We truly enjoyed our stay.
Next visit we'll spend more time and perhaps have an opportunity to meet you.
We loved our two day stay at the farmhouse! It is the perfect set up for two couples traveling together, with plenty of room for gathering and entertaining and yet privacy with a bedroom and bath upstairs and another bed and bath on the main floor. The location is great for exploring all the wineries and just minutes away from downtown Healdsburg. The farmhouse is very clean and bright and furnished with everything you could possibly need, from a well stocked kitchen to hair dryers in both bathrooms. The decor and furnishings are comfortable with a charming mix of antiques and newer pieces. The temperature was in the low 90's during our visit yet we were never bothered by the heat in the daytime or even at night as the ceiling fans worked quite well and open windows provided a nice breeze in the evening. Margaret is very charming and gave us several great recommendation for wineries to explore.(We dropped her name a few times and tasting fees were waived!) Be sure and ask her about Margaret's Zinfandel made from grapes from her own vineyard! We started our morning with coffee in the back patio and enjoyed watching the sunset from the front porch with a glass of wine. We love Healdsburg and the farmhouse is a wonderful place to stay and headquarter while enjoying all the area has to offer. We'll be back!
My husband and I stayed for two nights with friends and enjoyed the close location to the Starlite winery where we had an event. The farmhouse was as advertised and we felt a good value. We were disappointed, however, not to have a comfortable outside eating location that had a view of the surrounding farmland. The backyard table is inside a high backyard fence and the front porch area was too warm in the evening. Also, the steep, wide stairs to the upstairs bedroom would be difficult to navigate for those physically challenged. There is a sturdy handrail, so we didn't have a problem. In all, a charming location, right next to the owner's house.
My family had a wonderful two day stay at this charming farmhouse. Located about 5 minutes north of town on Healdsburg Avenue, we were able to access all of our favorite places easily. It was an easy drive into Healdsburg, and convenient to wineries in the Alexander and Russian River Valleys. The farmhouse was comfortable for four of us and we really enjoyed having coffee by the fire on the chilly mornings and wine on the front porch to watch the sunset. You can faintly hear cars on the highway as the house is not too far off the road, but it didn't bother us a bit. We were happy to have quick access to all of the wonderful amenities the area has to offer! Our check-in and check-out were stress-free and Margaret was easy to communicate with and very responsive. We had a great experience and would definitely go back!
My family of 4 stayed at Lytton Place this summer and had a fantastic time. The accomodations were extremely clean and comfortable and I especially appreciated the full kitchen and the lovely bathrooms. We are looking forward to coming again as it was a great place to stay and convenient and accessible for exploring Wine Country in Sonoma.
This was the first time we stayed at the farmhouse and will certainly do so again! The whole experience was terrific. The house is so cozy, easily fit our family of 5 and visitors coming and going. The kitchen is so roomy (no dishwasher but it didn't present a problem for us). The owner, Margaret, is extremely accommodating and friendly! This is a vacation home that all you need to do is bring your suitcase, Margaret has thought of everything!
We enjoyed our stay at the farmhouse. It was very centrally located to lots of wineries, restaurants and beautiful scenery. The house was comfortable and clean. The owner was attentive, friendly and helpful in suggesting places to eat and visit. We thought it was the perfect place to stay!
Near approximately 100 wineries. We can arrange a private
wine tasting at the Farmhouse.
