It is located within the resort community of Bayside at Ocean City, about 4 miles from the Ocean City inlet & boardwalk and 6 miles to Assateague Island, famous for wild ponies that roam the island & much less crowded beaches. To help you stay in shape even in the winter, the clubhouse features a brand new fitness center, game room, and an indoor pool. When the weather is warm enough enjoy the tennis courts, playground, walking trails, 1/4 mile long fishing/crab pier, fishing ponds, and kayak dock. There are so many things to do even within the community. 'The Bethel' is located directly in front of the pond and across from the community clubhouse. Notes: The Bayside at Ocean City resort community is ideal for families, away from the crowds, traffic and noise, and with enough entertainment within the community. Yet, it is only 4 miles to beach at the inlet and boardwalk and only 2 miles of easy drive to Assateague Island, famous for wild ponies that roam the island and much less crowded than the beach. That means more room and more privacy on the Island to play for you and yours. It offers public bathrooms. You may even be able to drive on the Island for a fee. The public boat ramp is approx 2 miles away. If you don't want to drive to the beach at the inlet or the boardwalk, you can drive 2 miles to Rt 50 and take a shuttle for $1.00 to avoid paid parking. Within short distances, you can: go to the movies, go shopping, go Kart racing, golfing, dining, and water sporting activities.

Everything was as advertised and we could not have been happier with our choice of where to stay. This was my first rental through homeaway and I was a little nervous about going through a private owner instead of an agency. Well, that worry proved unfounded, the owners of this house answered all of my questions promptly and the experience could not have been better.

I am already making plans to rent this house again next year.

Wonderful house.....We loved it!

Our stay at Bethel was one of the best vacations we had in a long time. We had about 8 people or so during the week and had more than enough room. The photos don't do the house justice....It's beautiful!.....Great location away from the Ocean City crowd.Adults and children will love the house....Thanks again for a great vacation.We'll be back next year!

the description of the property was actually to the "T". Sometimes descriptions are over exaggerated. But everything in this property was as described. The property was clean and well maintained. The owner provides one of the best customer services that I have ever encounted and I travel a lot. Very friendly and accomodating. This is a very lovely place and I would recommend it to anyone who would like to experience Ocean City. I love the community, it is very quiet and peaceful. The club house has it all, (i.e. swimming pool, exercise room, pool table and party room(meeting room) and or game room and lounge. I love it! I believe you will, too!

Great house

My friends and I all love the house. It is in a nice location outside of Ocean City where its quiet. Its close to everything. We love going to the pool and spending time at the club house. We also enjoyed walking through the nature path and out on the dock. The house is beautiful. It has everything we need. We like that the house has a key pad that way we didn't have to worry about loosing keys or sharing them. The house is kept in very good condition and is just an overall great place to stay.

Extended Weekend Family Vacation

You won't regret renting this property. The owners are gracious wonderful people. They will make your stay comfortable as possible.
It is our third visit, 1st time in the house. We rented the townhouse and the house since our family is very large..
The home is beautifully decorated, roomy, warm and friendly. The property has everything you need.
The master suite is breath taking, a great view of the bay
The loft was a smash with the grandchildren, from the young to the teenagers and young adults. A perfect place to hang out. The children loved it.It is very kid friendly
(You will even enjoy cooking in the great kitchen)
Plenty of seating, The Den was great for building jig saw puzzles, or using your lap top reception was great.
The area is peaceful, quiet and friendly. Biking, walking, fishing sitting by the lake.
Take a walk out to the pier and enjoy the bay
All will enjoy the clubhouse large indoor and outdoor pool, playground, game room state of art fitness center, tastefully decorated multi purpose room.
The also have tennis courts
The lake is stocked with fish
You are not far from anything, About three miles to restaurants, shopping and entertainment,
I have compiled a list of entertainment. which I will be e-mailing to the owners if you are unfamilar with the area.
All in all it's a great vacation spot.. We will be returning.
