WALK TO PEAK 9 VILLAGE & THE QUICKSILVER LIFT
Walk just 4 minutes to the Quicksilver Lift at the Peak 9 Village base area! Simply walk across the street to a paved path that leads directly to the ski lift. Amenities in the Peak 9 base Village include on-mountain dining at The Maggie, restaurants, bars, shops, ski and snowboarding schools, rental shops, childcare and a medical clinic.
Peak 9 is at the core of the ski area and the location could not be better….it caters to beginner, intermediate and expert skiers and provides ideal access to the rest of the mountain. Take the 6-person high-speed Quicksilver Lift at Peak 9 to any of several lifts that will whisk you directly up to the tops of Peaks 8, 9 and 10. You can return directly to the Peak 9 base area from most lifts, including the Imperial Lift at the very top. It is easy to get around the mountain and access the condo throughout the day.
WALK TO MAIN STREET, THE HEART OF BRECKENRIDGE
Walk just 3-5 minutes to the Peak 9 Village and Main Street shops and restaurants! The Quandary Grille, Breckenridge Brewery, Blue Moose Restaurant (famous for its breakfast), Taddeo’s Italian Restaurant, Empire Burger, Burke & Riley’s Pub, My Thai, Mi Casa, Cold Stone Creamery, and La Francois French Bakery are all great choices less than 5 minutes walking distance from the condo. Continue to stroll along Main Street and discover more charming restaurants and cafés, bustling pubs, and fine dining. Browse the ski shops, art galleries and trendy boutiques and enjoy the town.
PRIVATE AND QUIET, NEWLY RENOVATED CONDO
In the summer of 2012, the entire outside of the condo complex was renovated. The siding was replaced, stone chimneys were added and the complex was updated with new paint, lighting, and cedar decks and ski lockers. A unique feature of this unit is that it is private and quiet, located in a scenic, wooded area on the south side of the mountain. Kids enjoy playing along the tree-lined, paved path that leads to town and can safely bike around the condo. And, best of all, this corner two-story unit does not share any common walls with neighboring condos and is very quiet.
COVERED PARKING & FREE TRANSPORTATION; SKI LOCKERS
There is a covered parking space reserved for the condo unit, which guarantees comfortable and convenient access to the condo regardless of weather conditions. Park your car and walk along the covered walkway that is just a few steps from your ski locker and the condo. Store your skis, snowboards and poles in the large ski locker reserved for your condo. In the winter, you will be delighted to see the snow cover the ski slopes and not your car!
Breckenridge is centrally located from other Vail Resorts' mountains: only 20–25 min. from Keystone and A-Basin; 45 min. from Vail, and 1 hr. from Beaver Creek. For guests without a car, the condo is within easy walking distance from much of the Town of Breckenridge. In addition, there is a bus stop nearby where you can board the Free Ride bus and take it around Breckenridge, to the Ice Rink, City Market, and Recreation Center. The bus also stops at the town depot, where you can take the Summit Stage bus to the other great Summit County Ski Resorts: Copper Mountain, Keystone and Arapahoe Basin.
HEATED OUTDOOR POOL & INDOOR AND OUTDOOR HOT TUBS
Just steps from the condo are two indoor hot tubs and two outdoor hot tubs, and a heated outdoor swimming pool, and a clubhouse. The outdoor pool includes a toddler pool. Inside the clubhouse are lockers, showers and bathrooms. The pools and hot tubs are open during ski season and in the summer. In the spring and fall, you may use the pools and facilities at the Breckenridge Recreation Center.
NEWLY FURNISHED FAMILY ROOM, DIING ROOM & WELL-EQUIPPED KITCHEN
As a two-story corner unit with vaulted ceilings and lots of windows on all sides, the condo and is bright and open. The mountain décor throughout the condo is new and modern. The family room features a new stone gas fireplace with a refinished mantel salvaged from a nearby mining cabin, and a blower, making the living area extra cozy in the winter. Sink into the new, comfortable leather couches in front of a 40” flat screen TV and watch cable or pop a DVD in the blue-ray DVD player, or listen to music on the iPod/iPad player. Available to you are a variety of books, games and DVDs for adults and children.
The well-equipped kitchen opens to the dining and family rooms, so you can socialize while preparing food. The new kitchen table has four seats and a bench, and the kitchen bar has seating for three more. The sliding glass doors off of the dining room open to a large deck with chairs and a gas grill. Sip your coffee in the morning and enjoy the Colorado outdoors.
MASTER BEDROOM, SECOND STORY BEDROOM & LOFT BEDROOM
The condo has two bedrooms and two full bathrooms, plus a loft bedroom. The private, spacious master bedroom is on the main floor and features a queen bed with a pillow top mattress and new down comforter, a flat screen LED TV, and sliding glass doors that open to a private deck. There is a full bath just outside the master bedroom with a newly tiled shower and a bathtub. Upstairs are a second bedroom with two twin beds that have new mattresses and new bedding, and a DVD player. The trundle bed and bedding in the loft are new and the trundle folds out to two twin beds or one large bed. There is a new queen sofa bed in the living room, and a new 2” queen memory foam mattress topper. There is a second full bathroom upstairs with a shower, and the condo sleeps 8 comfortably.
FAMILY FRIENDLY
For the very little ones, there is a pack and play and a sheet for the mattress, and space to set it up in any of the bedrooms. There are also baby spoons, a baby seat with a tray that attaches to the dining chair, a stair gate, and outlet covers. There are sleds for the sledding park, toy boxes filled toys, children’s books and games, children’s DVDs, and a game table with checkers, chess and backgammon in the loft. For adults, there are DVDs, novels, playing cards and games (including poker chips and Monopoly). Children may enjoy the Mountain Top Children's Museum, located right in the Village at Peak 9. Check out the Museum’s Kid’s Night Out and enjoy dinner on the town.
OTHER CONVENIENCES & FRIENDLY OWNERS
Other conveniences include free wireless Internet access and a free washer/dryer. The entryway is equipped with a bench, ample coat hooks, shoe storage, and heated boot racks… ahhh…dry, warm boots in the morning.
The condo owners cater to guests and will personalize your vacation with ideas for resort and on- or off-mountain activities. At your service are recommendations for restaurants, nightlife hot spots, transportation, discount lift tickets, ski and snowboard rentals, activities, and local attractions. Inside the condo are winter ski trail maps, summer bike trail maps, activity brochures, restaurant menus, a local hiking guide and more!
SUMMER FUN: HIKING, BIKING & HORSEBACK-RIDING OUT YOUR BACK DOOR
If you like hiking, mountain biking or horseback riding, the Blue River and mountain trails are just out the door. Breckenridge Stables at Peak 9 offers horseback riding for all ages and abilities. Across the street are the Columbine Trail and Burro Trail, ideal for hiking, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing. The Burro Trail (~4 miles, 1640 ft. elevation gain) is a single track through the woods with nice views. Walk, bike, or jog from the condo to and along the paved Blue River bike path, which leads from Breckenridge all the way to the town of Frisco. Mountain biking is plentiful. You can haul your bike up the ski lift in the summer and ride down Peak 9 to the condo.
Are you motivated to climb one of several nearby 14,000-foot peaks? Quandry Peak is just a few miles away and provides an exhilarating hike and unbeatable views from of the Rockies from the summit. Golf at Breckenridge’s 27-hole golf course designed by Jack Nicklaus, fish along the Blue River, or sail Lake Dillon. Lay out by the pool, take a dip in the hot tubs, or enjoy Breck’s Indoor Recreation Center with a large children’s pool and water slide, tennis, racquetball, basketball, weight training, aerobics classes and more.
