Located in Murphy NC, just 10 minutes from Downtown Murphy in a peaceful and tranquil setting, this beautiful real log cabin has a pool table, wireless Internet, free domestic long distance, BBQ grill, huge covered deck area, fully equipped kitchen with all the necessities to prepare all the daily meals, private bathroom for the master bedroom, beautiful real wood floors and cathedral ceilings, paved roads and easy access, fireplace, excellent setting in the NC mountains. Cabin is tastefully decorated with a huge area for outdoor enjoyment. The master bedroom has a king sized bed and the second bedroom has two twin beds. The living room has a queen sized sofa bed. Comes with satellite TV and HBO free of charge, boardgames, linens and towels are provided. Come enjoy this peaceful mountain area and yet still have the luxury of a modern home. Jacuzzi and pool table are new. The cabin sleeps 6, but it is perfect for 2 couples traveling together or for an extra spacious romantic get-away.

The Cabin has an indoor jacuzzi and is situated in the quiet, peaceful and upscale Hidden Creek Mountain of Murphy NC. .Cabin is located in the Smoky Mountains of Western North Carolina area. There are several lakes for outdoor enjoyment, horseback riding, white water rafting 15 minutes from the cabin, the Great Smoky Mountain railroad, hiking, mountain biking, skiing, golf, casinos, and many more outdoor activities. Skiing at Maggie Valley is a beautiful 60 mile drive. There is also snow tubing at Scaley Mountain and a Casino in Cherokee, NC Atlanta Airport is a short 2 hour drive and Chattanooga is a scenic 90 minute drive.

Murphy's spectacular, age-old, Appalachian setting provides gift shopping and an escape from the hustle and bustle of modern day life. The cabin is located in the beautiful and romantic Hidden Creek mountain, just 10 miles west of Downtown Murphy. The roads leading to the cabin are paved and well maintained. Easy access to the main highway. The parking is safe. The setting is peaceful and relaxing. you will enjoy the large covered deck surrounded by gorgeous woods and a great mountain view. Pool table available for late night entertainment along with board games and a BBQ grill. You will enjoy a peaceful setting with few neighbors.

One of the things you will enjoy about this cabin is the spacious living areas. This 1000 sq feet log cabin has all windows to the outside to enjoy the view. the living room has a sofa bed for extra guests. There is a gas BBQ. The rooms are comfortable with all the furniture needed for an extended stay. The beds are new and are super comfortable. Everything in the house is new. HBO is included free of charge, so come to the cabin and still watch your favorite HBO movies and shows.

Billiard table and indoor jacuzzi: The cabin comes with a pool table and an indoor jacuzzi. The pool table is excellent way to enjoy the nights and stay in a cozy and beautiful cabin in the Carolina mountains.

Ski: Ski at Maggie Valley and enjoy the winter months of North Carolina. Go snow tubing in Scaley mountain.

Golf: Golf in the beautiful and challenging Murphy Country Club, just 10 minutes away.

Not worth the money

Upon arrival we were greeted with an annoying unreachable fire alarm ( 12 ft high) with a low battery that kept beeping. We called the owner and he said that he could get someone to fix the alarm sometime the next day. We had to fix it ourselves. This was almost impossible since there wasn't a ladder anywhere. The king sized bed that the web site boasts was a very uncomfortable queen (the mattress was stained) The linens were dirty from previous users and the bath rugs were covered in twigs and dirt. The floor was covered in grit. There is a cleaning fee but I'm not sure where that money is going because once we booked the cabin we were sent an email telling us that we had to take all the trash to the local landfill and wash the dishes or we would be charged extra money. There is also a sign on the washer stating that you must wash linens for the next guests. We killed spiders inside the cabin everywhere during our stay. The soap in the bathrooms was out and someone had filled them all with water (so nasty). There should have been a note letting you know that if you wanted a clean cabin you would have to clean it yourself and buy the cleaning supplies (there were only empty bottles in the cabin). We stay at a lot of cabins and this was by far the worst.

Loved the cabin!

My husband and I stayed in the cabin for our honeymoon and we truly enjoyed it. We loved the pool table, the decor,the fireplace, the location, everthing! Grocery store nearby and a drive thur bar. As far as the driveway, it is not steep.I am from FL where it's flat, the drive to the cabin is fine.

Great honeymoon getaway

We really enjoyed our stay at this little cabin and it was a great bargain. The jacuzzi was very nice and we used the grill almost every day during our week-long stay. Town isn't too far away and its close to the Tennessee border so its not tough to get to the different areas. One negative was that the town of Murphy doesn't offer too much to do and a lot of the businesses are closed at odd hours. Other than that I would rent this place again.
Owner's Response: Thank you for your kind words. Murphy now has a bar with live entertainment. The Country Club offers a full service bar and excellent food. There are several new restaurants in the area.

I would stay again!

The cabin was beautiful and comfortable. We have kids ages 9 and 8 and they loved it, too!

One of the mornings we had a real hard rain. It was very peaceful to sit on the porch and listen to the rain fall.

The location is great. There are many things to do in the area that are 10-15 minutes away, and more just a hour or so drive.

It is a great bargain!
