Original pine plank flooring, beaded woodwork and restoration glass windows compliment this late 19th century Saltbox house, tastefully decorated with a Texas flare. A spacious covered porch with wicker rockers overlook a stocked 1.5 acre pond with a shaded flagstone patio, garden arbors and mature oaks. The entire property may be reserved for your private use with a two night minimum stay.

Rental Rates for this vacation farmhouse rental in Round Top, Texas

Payment is usually accepted in the quoted currency () unless the currency and the amount is specifically agreed in advance with the owner / advertiser.

  • $275.00 plus tax per night, sleeps up to 8 people.
  • Rates

    Special Rates apply during Antique week in April & October, Christmas, New Years, and Thanksgiving weeks.
    Three (3) night minimum stay required during Holidays.
    10% Discounts available weekdays, from Monday night to Wednesday night, not including holidays.
    10% Discount available on weekly rentals and during winter months
    Fully refundable deposit of $300.00 due at time of reservation. Deposit will be refunded within 10 days of departure after a satisfactory inspection.
    Significant damage to property or items missing from the property may result in a loss of all or part of the deposit. Additional guests staying without the consent or knowledge of the owners may result in the forfeiture of the deposit.
    Pets will have to be cleared with the owner before occupying the home.
    There is a phone at The Bootstrap. We'll provide you with the number once reservation is made so family and friends can contact you.

  • Payment: We require a 50% deposit, due at time of booking to confirm your dates. We take VISA, MasterCard, Discover (NO personal checks). We'll then charge this same card for the rest of your payment the week of your stay at The Bootstrap at Round Top.

I wanted to write and tell the owners of Bootstrap what a joy it was to stay there. From the moment we drove through the gate it was a great experience. I can’t tell you how much we enjoyed this home away from home. Everything was sparkling clean and the refrigerator was well stocked with refreshments. The snack items left on the counter were much appreciated and such a pleasant surprise. From the comfortable beds to the friendly fish that came each day for feeding at the pond, the entire stay was truly refreshing giving a true feeling of security. The small surrounding towns offered entertainment and charm with each unique setting. I would recommend this as a vacation spot year round. The size of the lodge could accommodate a family reunion and the grounds are pretty enough for a wedding. I can’t wait to gather a group of family or friends and stay again.
