Pack a bag and hit the beach. Enjoy bike rides through town, to Kid's Corner Park, or travel the Kal-Van trail....beautiful. Watch the sunsets on the South bluff....awesome. Go boating or jet skiing down the channel and Lake Michigan...many boat rentals available. The long driveway can accommodate all your boats, jet skis, and additional vehicles. The tall two story home has a modern kitchen and island with cozy beach furnishings throughout the house. Two bathrooms make getting to the outdoors fast. A reading room is full of books for adults and children. A sun room is waiting to hang all your beachwear when you get back from your sun filled day. Hear the lake waves at night while star gazing and enjoy a night walk on the beach. Enjoy the lake...the South Haven way!

This spacious cottage and yard offers the quiet and serenity of a beautiful Michigan night, countless stars and the sound of waves crashing on the beach. The concerts and night events are only a few minutes away. The beach and sunsets are a block away. Explore further...the Kal-Van trail will take you on a wonderful wooded trail to Kalamazoo, either biking or hiking. Enjoy the Harvest Fest, Blueberry Fest, Golfing, Boating and the beach in town. The summer nightlife is fantastic and the local movie theater in town is great for the kids. Exploring further...enjoy the shopping and food in Saugatauk and Holland.

Additional information about rental rates

  • Rents weekly Saturday to Saturday.
    Peak Season June 13 - September 5 $1,350.00 per week
    Off Peak September 6 - June 13 $1,100.00 per week

    A $500.00 deposit will secure the reservation. Balance is due in full 30 days prior to arrival date with a $250.00 security deposit, which is returned within 30 days of departure.
    A non refundable $100.00 will be charged for any cancellation. If a rental cannot be booked for canceled dates, no amount of deposit will be refunded, except security deposit if paid. If house is left excessively dirty $100.00 will be deducted from security deposit.

    Check Out: 11:00 AM on Saturday departure

What to do in and around South Haven: There are beautiful bike trails (Kal-VanTrail) that travel the black river and through the woods all the way to Kalamazoo. The Van Vuren State Park is only a few miles south and has trails and dunes by the beach. For shoppers and chocolate lovers South Haven offers it all. Also, outside exploring to Saugatuck and Holland will provide more shopping, more dining and more beaches. If golfing is your bag, try Hawkshead Links course nearby. There are many golf courses scattered up and down the coast. But the best thing to do in South Haven in the summer is to hang out at the beach or down by the channel, get some sun and have some fun. Fishing off the pier, renting kayaks, zodiac boats or wave runners is all part of the great fun and relaxation available to you in South Haven. And of course do not forget the festivals. Harbor Fest, Fine Arts Fair, Festival of Cars, Blueberry Fest, All Crafts Fair and much more.
