This is the place you will want to revisit year after year for the family vacation, anniversary, summer vacation with the kids... Our picturesque getaway will yield you wonderful memories for years to come. Our adorable, lakehouse is perfect for those who want all the amenities in the quiet of the woods. We are ten minutes from the dining, shops, theatre and beaches of South Haven, but in the peace and quiet of Grand Junction. Imagine a two-hour drive from Chicago that ends at a dirt fire-lane. Drive slowly down this curving road and see the perfect getaway beckoning! Our property features 12 acres of private woods and open fields for picnics or sports and 150 feet of pristine lakefront property including a dock, a firepit for bonfires and the most adorable and comfortable house you can imagine. There is even a darling little gazebo in which to to rest while strolling the trails through the woods.

Saddle Lake and Lake Michigan: Saddle Lake is one of the largest in-land lakes in southern Michigan. It covers 250 acres and offers excellent fishing, swimming, and water sports. Boat rentals and delivery is available in South Haven. We also offer the use of our row boat at no charge to our renters. The beaches of Lake Michigan are a short 10 minute drive to South Haven. South Haven has two beaches, great shopping and some wonderful food.

I just wanted to say thank you for a wonderful fall weekend. The house is wonderful and the fire pit served as a center point for adults and kids. There is much to be said for sitting out on a beautiful fall day, enjoying both sunshine, colored leaves, the lake and a nice warm fire.

The beds are fabulous and the whole family slept like babies after the fresh air and hot tub!

Thanks again - we will definitely be back.

Carter, I would like to thank you for renting your summer home to my family. My wife and I are empty nesters and our sons and daughters came in from all over the states to meet up for a family vacation. It was laid back with no plans at all. I brought up my little 15' boat and everyone had a ball fishing, tubing and just relaxing. We sat by the lake with a cozy fire or we just sat around talkin about all of the good times. It is far enough from the hussle and bussle yet it is close enough to get in the car and do some "touristy" things that you do when on vacation. What you see on the Web site is what you get. It is what I thought it would be from the pictures. I was very pleased and was wife was in heaven. Your stove is fantastic!!!!
