Villa Makai is located in the exclusive residential area called Palm Beach and was recently refurbished and redecorated. The fully air-conditioned, tropically furnished home boasts 4 bedrooms, 2 ½ bathrooms, a living room accented by a dramatic cathedral ceiling with cable tv, dvd/cd player, fully equipped kitchen with bar and separate adjacent dining room seating 10 people. Outside, guests enjoy an outdoor dining area, pergola, pool with chaises, gas BBQ grill, lush landscaping and outdoor shower all surrounded by a privacy wall. At only one block away from the beach, highrise hotels, casinos and upscale restaurants, guests can easily decide to venture out or stay comfortably in their home away from home, lounging and having cocktails by the pool.

The constant tradewinds allow for only a few rainy days per year and keep the island nice and cool at a near constant 85 degrees F. Daytime activities could keep one busy for weeks on end – golfing, diving, snorkeling, hiking, biking, bird watching, deepsea fishing, windsurfing, kiting are only a few! At night, the casinos, restaurant choices, bars and lounges are endless. Although Dutch is the official local language everyone speaks English, Spanish, and Papiamento as well. Both the US Dollar and Aruban Florin are accepted everywhere and the island enjoys an advanced infrastructure, great economy, 99% literacy rate and zero unemployment. Arubans are a very proud people and have embraced the tourism industry while maintaining the local flair many visitors are so attracted to.
