New luxury condominium. This condominium is located in the heart of DC. Many convenient walking destinations including the Washington Convention Center, MCI Center, Martin Luther King Memorial Library, National Museum of Women in the Arts, Franklin Park, the beautiful and revitalized China Town, Metro Stations, shops, restaurants, and more. Off-site parking is available. This condominium has over 550 square feet of living space and includes one bedroom, one full bath, a living-dining room and a fully appointed kitchen. The bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed and there is a queen-size sofa sleeper in the living room. All bedding and towels are supplied. The kitchen has a complete set of utensils, dishes, pots, pans, microwave, dishwasher and refrigerator. The condominium also has a TV with cable, a VCR and DVD player. High-speed DSL Internet service and local phone service is provided (a calling card is needed to make long distance phone calls).

Great vacation

We rented this unit during our school vacation week. We enjoyed the easy access to the Metro and found the unit clean and cozy. The owner is excellent to deal with, we were allowed to leave our luggage in the unit our last day and our security deposit was promptly returned. Our tweens slept on the pull out couch with an air mattress on top and we found the bedroom to be comfortable. The kitchen served our needs, we ate breakfast in the unit and made lunches before heading out for the day.

We walked up to Whole Foods located on P street near Logan Circle. There is also a CVS next to Whole Foods and you can purchase a Metro Smart Card there. There is also an Au Bon Pan and Quiznos around the corner from the unit and a Subway at the Metro Convention Center stop. We would recommend this unit to friends and family.

DC Condo - 12th Street and Massachusettes Avenue

This was a lovely modern condo, spotlessly clean and and well equipped. It had very effective, central air-conditioning which was really needed as the weather was extremely hot.
The condo was well located in a nice safe area and was within walking distance (maybe a mile) of all the sights. However, the weather was so hot in August that we found the walking difficult.
There was a double bedroom (comfortable queen bed), a sofa bed in the living area (uncomfortable) and a blow-up aerobed (comfortable).
Check-in was automatic with access codes e-mailed to us in advance. We never met the owner or any representative of the owner. On the last day, we needed somewhere to store our bags for a few hours; we contacted the owner by phone and she was very helpful - allowing us to leave them in the apartment until late.
Our deposit was promptly refunded within a week of departure.
Overall, we had an excellent experience in this condo. We would have no hesitation in returning.

Great little spot!

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a week when we were in town for work and loved it! We could walk or train everywhere we wanted to go including national monuments, theater and nightlife. The space is not large, but it's very comfortable, clean, fully equipped, very well maintainted. The couch in the living room pulled out, there was cable TV, secure entry, pots and pans, maps and take-out menues on the counter and wine glasses:) I highly reccommend this place for a couple or perhaps a few friends. The only problem was the oven was dirty and the washer/dryer didn't work in our unit, so check on those things before you book.

The location is perfect for those who do not rent a car- the Metro is close and the sites/National Mall are within a few minutes. The condo sleeps 2 well. The people are easy to deal with and helpful when you need something. The night life in the area is vibrant and the town does not shut down.
