What a lovely home!
Despite the fact that Mother Nature didn't completely cooperate, our experience at 'The Swan House' was flawless. The house and property was very clean and well-maintained. The amount of room was quite adequate for all six of us to be comfortable. It has a perfect layout. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need to prepare meals (which we did). I have only one suggestion for the owners - the dining table was a bit of a tight squeeze for six adults. Maybe an optional table leaf to make it oval would have been better.
The owners description was very accurate, and they provided excellent customer service (even though they were abroad at the time of our visit). We were able to walk to the beach, a nearby craft fair, and the 'downtown' area of the Washington St. mall.
Dinner at Tisha's was very good. Our only complaint was that we were crowded. They pack as many patrons into their tiny dining room as possible, which distracts from the overall ambiance.
We all agreed that we would most definitely return to this property and would definitely recommend it to others.
