Casa Hortencias is popular located in the 'real' Puerto Vallarta/ This lovely home sits just above Old Town, Romantic Zone and Los Muertos beach in the most diverse neighborhood in Puerto Vallarta. If you want to feel like you are really living in Mexico this home is the place. Beautiful interiors, amazing views, and all the comforts of home. The most special feature of this home is the amazing rooftop recreation area with swimming pool, huge palapa for reading or cocktails in the shade, area for sunning, BBQ grill and more amazing views. This home is perfect for a romantic holiday, a festive vacation with friends or a vacation to enjoy your family.

For larger groups you can also rent one of my condos next door.

NOTE: I do not keep up the online calendars on my homes. I have several homes in Puerto Vallarta and I may be able to accommodate you at another home if this one is booked. For current availability, email is best as I don't carry my calendar with me when I'm out.
About Jeffery Hill

My name is Jeffery Hill and I have been renting my homes in Puerto Vallarta and Florida for over 13 years. As my business has grown, so has my ability, to provide great properties and great service.

On my website at www.VacationInPuertoVallarta.com you will see over 20 properties. I own 5 of these homes and rent the remainder for others. Am I a rental agent? Well, yes and no. Almost all of the homes on my site have a personal connection. I do interior design and many of the properties are owned by clients who hired me to create the vacation rental for them and then manage their rental business. Other properties are owned by friends and neighbors, who have seen what I do, and have asked me to bring their property up to my standards and do the rentals for them. So unlike many rental agents, my agenda is not just to make money. My goal is to create a unique collection of very special properties, in many price ranges, with many different flavors, and provide great service to my guests.

In Puerto Vallarta, I am fortunate to have an amazing staff who work very hard to maintain my properties and take care of my guests. We offer optional services such as airport pickup, groceries delivered upon arrival, chef services and assistance with restaurant ideas, tours, etc. We are not always perfect, but our goal is to do the best to provide you with your best vacation ever. If you are traveling to celebrate a special occasion, let us know and we will help make it more special. If you are traveling with a larger group, let us know and we will make suggestions for properties located close to each other that will accommodate your group. In other words, tell us what you want and we will see what we can do.

If you want to stay in the 'Real' Puerto Vallarta, this is the place. Old Town/Romantic Zone is the place to be if you are looking for the best restaurants and shops. It's the fun authentic part of Puerto Vallarta. If you prefer to be away from the tourist areas Casa Hortencias is for you. All of my homes sit on the hill just above town. You just walk down the hill in about 4 to 10 minutes, depending on which property you rent, and you are right in the middle of town or on Los Muertos beach. Come stay with me and have a real Puerto Vallarta vacation.

Casa Hortencias is a beautufl classic Mexican home with beautuful interiors, very nice artwork and accessories and those amazing views of the town and bay.

Have your morning coffee on the lower terrace or upstairs under the palapa. Have your nightcap floating in the pool under the stars watching the nightly fireworks over the bay.

Guests have been coming to Casa Hortencias and many of my guests return year after year.

Payment is usually accepted in the quoted currency () unless the currency and the amount is specifically agreed in advance with the owner / advertiser.

  • Rates quoted are for 4 guests. Additional charges for extra persons. Request quote.
    Holiday rates apply Thanksgiving, Easter, Christmas, and New Years weeks.
    If you have a large group or need to accommodate others nearby we have other properties close to this property.
    Cleaning fee may be added.
    Tax will be added.
    Rates do not include gratuity. The suggested tip for your maid is $3.00 per person per night or about $30 per bedroom per week.
    Unlike a hotel, during Peak season, your maid cleans your entire home every day except Sundays. The same service is usually given 3 days a week in Low Season.
    Pets are welcome in most of my homes. Extra charges may apply.
    Rates are subject to change at any time.
    Always request a firm quote for your particular dates, number of guests and specific circumstances.
  • 50% deposit required to confirm your reservation.
    Balance due 30 days prior to arrival.
    Payments are by check, wire transfer or PayPal. Additional fees may be added for wire transfers and PayPal payments.
    Additional services such as airport pick up, grocery delivery, wine delivery, and chef services are available and will be billed when service is rendered. Details of extra services will be emailed about 2 weeks prior to arrival.

Great vacation home

Four of us shared the home and absolutely loved the fact that there were so many different spaces to relax in. The housekeeper did a spotless job (and as someone also pointed out, if you don't want her to do your laundry, don't leave it out and visible!) . The kitchen is well equipped and easy to cook in.The walk down the tire path was very daunting the first day, but by day 2 it was a snap. We love PV, and prefer to spend time in Old Town, so this was perfect. The only downside is how close condos are all around it. We were fortunate that most were empty, so there was little noise except for one night when neighbors had a loud party..No big deal. Loved the roof top pool- fabulous. Would definitely come back.

Peace, harmony with nature, spectacular views

I spend 10 days recently at Casa Hortencias with my "mexican" family. We felt at home, in a home with all the amenities needed. But above "things" there was a sense of peace, nature all around, yet down the hill and you are in town. Having your own pool is so great, especially in the hot weather. The staff are wonderful-attentive, helpful but not intrusive. The rooftop palapas, pool are beyond compare...we spent many wonderful evenings there. The house has top of the line appliances, granite, washer/dryer....everything one needs to be comfortable. I was never so relaxed in my life! If you want privacy, peace, a wonderful pool, spectacular views, a well maintained home with all the amenitites, all near town & shopping, you should consider this villa. You won't be disappointed! We will be going back very soon....

Jeffery, Our tropical vacation has come to and end. Today we fly back to the grey Minnesota. We loved our 10 days in PV. Highlights for us were: 1.Swimming the the pool all the time! 2. Sitting with coffee in the early morning cool air on the terrace. 3. Swimming in a mountain rive at the Botanical Gardens 4. Swimming at Conchis Chinas beach and seeing interesting fish swim 5.
