Wireless internet INCLUDED. Enjoy spectacular ocean and sunset views from one of the highest lots in Carova Beach. Direct beach access path is right across the street. You will love cooking in our fully equipped dream gourmet kitchen with state-of-the-art appliances, two dishwashers, over-sized refrigerator, wine cooler and granite counter tops. Top floor sun room provides three picturesque views. Private ships' watch provides a desk, phone, printer, and two comfortable reading chairs. Three master bedrooms and spacious family suite (king connecting through bathroom to 2 twins with 1 trundle and full sized crib), and a double bunk room (sleeps five) for the kids provides comfort and privacy for all. A ground floor kitchenette serves the private pool and hot tub.

The beaches of Corolla have been cited as some of the best undiscovered beaches! Check out the #2 'BEST BEACH' at Secluded_U.S._Beaches/Carova_Beach. Some attractions Corolla is known for are the Currituck Lighthouse (climb to the top for a bird's eye view of Corolla), the historic Whalehead Club which is open for tours and offers a taste of historic Corolla, unique shopping at area boutiques, a movie theater, 2 grocery stores, Rees Jones designed golf course AND a Wildlife Nature center with interactive kids activities.

A Treasured Time is located on the secluded, remote, 4x4-access beaches where the wild Spanish mustangs still roam free. Though most guests staying in the 4WD area prefer a quiet and relaxed week at the beach, should you choose to venture back to the paved roads, A Treasured Time is a 30 minute ride to the historic Corolla Village, 45 minutes to the town of Duck, and a little over an hour to Nags Head.

  • Carova Beach has just been rated the #2 best secluded beach! The Master Top Floor Suite has an oversized Jacuzzi jetted tub, perfect for relaxing after a day at the beach. The shower stall is oversized with tile and large bench. The King Suite consists of a King Bedroom on the East Side of the house. The King bedroom shares a bathroom with the kids' Twin Room. The Kids' Twin Room has two twin beds with a trundle twin. A full size crib is stored in the closet if you need it. There is room for it either in the Twin room or it can be moved to the King Master. The Outdoor Shower is perfect for washing off the sand before going into the house or pool. Great place to give the family dog a shampoo before going home. The Laundry Room has a washing machine and two dryers - no more waiting for a load to dry!

Drive 9 miles north on the beach and enjoy wild horses playing on the dunes, dolphins jumping in the waves, and beautiful sunsets over the sound.

Gourmet Kitchen: A Treasured Time is owned by two people who love to cook. This gourmet kitchen is extremely well stocked with pots, pans, kitchen utensils, counter top appliances, even an ice cream maker! Enjoy cooking with high end stainless steel appliances, a 48-inch wide refrigerator/freezer, and granite counter tops. Huge walk in pantry makes storage a breeze. Twin dishwashers handle even the largest of clean ups. Fill the under-counter wine cooler with your favorite wines and prepare for awesome 'sunset moments.'

Biggest Decision of the Day: Beach or Pool?: The private, heatable pool is steps out of the back door. A hot tub is conveniently located on the pool deck. Plenty of deck furniture is available for lounging, reading, sunbathing. A dining table for 6 is also on the pool deck. Walk across the street to the beach, over the dune line. There, you will find kid-friendly waves, tidal pools, and shells galore. In the summer, watch for dolphins jumping just off shore. Bring your surf fishing gear and bait (blood worms recommended)! Best fishing is at high or low tide.

Golf and Putt Putt is available in Corolla at The Currituck Club, a ClubCorp property.

Great Place - Great Kitchen

Extremely comfortable, lots of extras and upgrades. Most quiet house we've rented. Great kitchen with all the extras and upgrades - every tool and appliance we could ask for. Well stocked with plates, glasses, silverware. Great pool, easy access to beach. Wild horses roamed through front and back yard.
Recommended for:  Pet-friendly, Girls Getaway, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
