This lovely Mediterranean style 5,000 square foot home sits across the street from one a white sand beach in the private resort community of Playacar Phase I. Just a 15 minute walk to Playa del Carmen's famous 5th avenue and centrally located to the exciting activities on the Mayan Riviera Coast. Three bedrooms are on the first floor, the fourth bedroom is upstairs and has a fantastic terrace with hammock and views of the sea. There are three king size beds in three of the bedrooms and two full size beds in the fourth bedroom. The decor features beautiful hacienda style furniture from Guadalajara. The house is perfect for entertaining, the expansive kitchen opens out to a large dinning room and living room which both look on to the pool deck and have views of the ocean. There is a pool table and bar in the basement. This home is the perfect getaway for couples seeking luxurious 5 star accommodations in paradise.

There are many activities in the area such as visiting Mayan Ruins and Cenotes and caves. Deep sea fishing, SCUBA diving, snorkeling are among the favorite water sports you will find here. If you are a golfer, you will enjoy the 18 hole championship golf course in Playacar II.

Our family stayed at Estrella del Mar during Christmas week 2008. We enjoyed every minute of having a lovely home at our disposal. we didn't want to stay at a hotel and Estrella del Mar afforded us the privacy and peace and quiet we sought. Mayte, director's assistant was most helpful and can provide you with many ideas for activity. This was one of our dream vacations..something our family will remember forever. Thanks!
