Spacious Brigantine townhome, 4BR, 2.5BA, sleeps 10-12, Just 3 Blocks to Beach!!

The unit was as described: spacious and conveniently located 3 blocks from beach, but the lack of upkeep and maintenance of the unit was very apparent. Windows in the loft area were rusted, in terrible shape and difficult to open and close. One nearly fell out when we opened it the first day of our stay. New windows should now be installed due to the keeping of our security deposit to replace the window that should have been replaced prior to our stay. The air conditioner could not cool the loft area; leaving that area hot and stuffy. Fans were provided in the loft but only 1 worked. Electrical outlet in the loft was not functioning and hanging out of wall. The light fixture in the kitchen seating area had no light bulbs; and the chairs at that table were unsteady and coming apart. There was 1 burner on the stove that was not functioning and the dispenser in the dishwasher did not open on its own during the wash cycle. There were no batteries in the TV remote control in the family room. The back yard area was overgrown. The great views of Brigantine and Atlantic City from the 2 decks were non-existent - you looked at an RV parking lot. Some kind of critter was living in walls of front bedrooms, scratching and movement could be heard at night. No blinds in any of the bedrooms to block light. Owners were very quick to respond to emails prior to our stay but refused to return phone calls or emails to discuss problems with unit/windows after the stay. Lots of little things add up to a very big disappointment of the unit. I would not recommend this unit for rental.
