Our philosophy as owners is that your vacation experience - be it 3 days or 3 months - should be completely comfortable. We accomplish this by offering a spotlessly clean home, beautifully decorated in our signature coastal chic style, and equipped with what we consider to be absolute necessities for a comfortable stay: a spotlessly clean home, fabulously appointed with everything you need - great cookware; clean, white dishes; movies, books and magazines; and welcome basket with goodies. It's unlike any Hilton Head vacation experience you've had before. We look forward to welcoming you as our guest!
Nothing old and yucky in this house!: Hollyberry House is light and bright and filled with every amenity that we appreciate when we vacation - new electronics; crisp, cotton sheets and fluffy pillows; all new appliances and lots of information about everything to do on the Island. The pine floors and new (2012) carpets are clean and fresh smelling, as are the fabulous furnishings. The bright, open kitchen, featuring all new dishes and accoutrements, is a great place to boil fresh local shrimp and corn on the cob ... or to serve pizza from nearby Guiseppi's if you are not in the mood to cook!
There is also a great grilling deck with gas grill and all new rear deck for gathering. Have you ever rented a vacation home only to find that the glassware is old and mismatched, the cookware is nearly non-existent, and that there MIGHT be one or two old wine glasses hidden back in the dark, stained cabinets? I have!! And I did not want that experience to greet my guests!
A few more details .....: A spacious living room with 39' flat screened TV with DVD player opens to a huge NEW deck with comfy outdoor furniture -- just the place for sunning, sipping, or chatting.
3 bedrooms (1 King,1 Queen,1 Queen) each boasting the comfiest bed linens I could find, with 'down-alternative' pillows - great for those who may be allergic, as well as LCD TV in each room (Master has free Netflix and guest rooms have DVD).
Baths are all new and spic and span! There is a big laundry room with space for hanging wet things after swimming. Ceiling fans and cool AC make even the inside breezy!
Stay connected to the outside world (if you must!) with high speed, wireless internet. As a Hollyberry House client you will also receive free access to 'hot spots' all around the Island. You can even take your lap top to Harbour Town, find a rocking chair, and start surfing the net or check email!
We are proud to have developed a niche concept in vacation rentals on Hilton Head Island: Each of our Signature properties is outfitted and equipped to exactly the same high standard-- No matter the address, our guests may expect to find their kitchen fabulously equipped with heavy, quality cookware, lots of serving pieces, all matching dishes, and ample glassware. We feature a finer quality, organic cotton bed and bath linen than you will find anywhere in this market. (It is important to us when we travel that we are completely comfortable and we know you must feel the same!) Electronics are updated, as are our stylish furnishings.
Your property will come stocked with all of the household amenities you will need for the duration of your stay, including trash bags, dish soaps, perfume free laundry products, bath tissue, soap and shampoos, even coffee supplies and an assortment of cooking spices. We always also stock beach toys, boogie boards, beach chairs and umbrellas-- really, all you have to do is come and enjoy.

HOW FAR TO BEACH: 2 minutes by car, 7 minutes by bike, or 15 minutes walking to the ocean.
More details--hop in your car and drive to Sea Pines Beach Club in 2 minutes. There you can rent beach chairs and umbrellas, sip a cool drink at the Beach Bar, or grab a freshly grilled burger from the grill. Children's activities, full baths, and a shore store complete the Beach Club. THE OCEAN IS A 15 MINUTE WALK from the house, GOOD FOR A STROLL OR FOR EXERCISE; BUT, IF TAKING CHILDREN OR LOTS OF BEACH GARB, BETTER TO BIKE OR DRIVE. There is plenty of parking at the Beach Club, but in summer, we suggest best parking is before 10 am or after 2 pm.
BIKING: Biking is the BEST in Sea Pines. You can have adult and child-sized bikes, toddler seats, and pull-alongs all delivered and waiting for you when you arrive. Please see our Guest Pak that you will receive when you inquire with your prospective dates of reservation.
BEACH EQUIPMENT: We have 6 folding beach chairs at the house along with a big beach umbrella, sand toys and lots of beach towels. Take the umbrella with you to the beach OR, if you prefer, you can rent traditional chairs and umbrellas directly from the lifeguards. Full information is in our Guest Pak.
