FAQ:: FAQ: Beach Proximity-- Hop in your car and drive to Sea Pines Beach club in 2 minutes. There you can rent beach chairs and umbrellas, sip a cool drink at the Beach Bar, or grab a freshly grilled burger from the grill. Children's activities, full baths, and a shore store complete the Beach Club. The ocean is a 10-12 minute walk -- good for a stroll or exercise, but if taking children or lots of beach garb, better to bike or drive.
Nothing old and yucky in this house!: Hollyberry House is light and bright and I have filled it with every amenity that I appreciate when I vacation-new electronics, crisp, cotton sheets and fluffy pillows, all new appliances, and lots of information about everything to do on the Island. The pine floors and new carpets are clean and fresh smelling, as are the fabulous new furnishings. The bright, open kitchen, featuring all new dishes and accouterments, is a great place to boil fresh shrimp and corn on the cob...or order pizza from nearby Guiseppi's! There is also a great grilling deck with gas grill for fresh fish or a yummy steak from the Fresh Market. Have you ever rented a vacation home only to find that the glassware is old and mismatched, the cookware is nearly non-existent, and that there MIGHT be one or two old wine glasses hidden back in the dark, stained cabinets? I have!! And I did not want that experience to greet my guests!
A few more details.....: A spacious living room with new flat screen TV with DVD player opens to a huge deck with comfy outdoor furniture-- just the place for sunning, sipping, or chatting. 3 bedrooms (1 King,1 Queen, 1 Queen) each boast the comfiest bed linens I could find, with 'down alternative' pillows- great for those who may be allergic, as well as plasma TV/DVD in each room. Baths are all new and spic and span! There is a big laundry room with space for hanging wet things after swimming. Ceiling fans and cool AC make even the inside breezy! Stay connected to the outside world with high speed wireless internet from Hargray DSL. Hargray has just upgraded to 3 Meg- even faster. As a Hollyberry House client you will also receive free access to Hargray's 'hot spots' all around the Island. You can even take your lap top to Harbour Town, find a rocking chair, and start surfing or check email! We welcome your well behaved pet for a small additional fee-- less than boarding and lots more fun!
Golf: The Hilton Head area boasts a myriad of golf courses, including 3 'public' courses in Sea Pines Plantation. Original and still the best is Harbour Town Links. Play where the pros play the annual Heritage Classic- Consistently rated #1 or #2 course in South Carolina, the competition being Kiawah Island's Ocean Course.
Other Activities: kayaking, shopping, great restaurants!
