  • Bedroom 1 ---Master had a genuine temperpedic queen bed and down comforter and 300 thread count sheets Bonus studio--- has a King with a down feather bed downstairs.. also int the bonus is a mini semi private loft with a queen mattress the loft is accessed by a ladder ( not for older or handicap fairly steep ladder) . in the loft is a 32 ' TV VCR DVD player for a cozy movie retreat ... Rent the entire beach cottage for 4-6 or main cottage for two .. Its your choice .. Prices vary .

Diana was lovely and made it very easy for us to be there. The house is adorable and very comfortable - has some great art in it and wonderful light and special touches. Twinkle lights and a cute little Christmas tree. We fell in love with the old but wonderful stove. Things in the house are well-used - but everything worked well. The kitchen was well stocked with essentials, the house was clean and just as represented in the ad. We spent a very quiet time and had no agenda other rather than resting, reading and watching TV and doing a few short walks to the beach. The dog loved it and with the fenced back area it was great. It's winter in California so it was cold outside, we had rain and wind and sun and stayed cozy and warm inside. The front porch/garden with wind chimes and the pond and statues would be great in warmer weather. The house would be great for a family with kids, plenty of room, but only one bathroom - there were only 2 of us. The hot tub needs some work on the jets of the jacuzzi - only one was functioning, but a great soak on a cold morning felt wonderful, and a little more light in the bathroom would be good. Other than that, everything was great. My preference is always to stay directly on the beach, but this house is in a sweet, quiet neighborhood and it really is only a 2-3 minute walk to the water.

We ate out only once at Alex's Bar-b-que and found it disappointing this time. Our previous experiences (a year ago) were good. We heard that it had changed management and that some of the locals felt that it wasn't as good recently. I wouldn't recommend eating there now.

I would recommend this house to a friend.
