Charming Bungalow, Conveniently Located Near Downtown and U of O

We loved our stay in the cottage! It was conveniently located and I loved having plenty of space. We loved all the homey touches and being able to cook our own meals. My daughter loved the backyard and being close to parks. We also loved having so many food options nearby including our new favorite Cornucopia! The cottage was charming, and the bathroom in particular was cute and updated. The house was a little drafty when we first got in, but we were able to control the heat in the (chilly by our standards) Eugene weather. We even attempted to use the wood burning stove, but could not make it work, but would have loved to sit by the fire! Overall, a lovely place to be and we would recommend for others.

I stayed here for 2 weeks in August 2010 with my husband and two boys, ages 6 and 3. We were in Eugene to visit my mom. We were so pleased when we saw the house - it is even cuter than in the photos. And don't be put off by the fact that there is only one bedroom. This is actually a very spacious house, with a comfortable fold-out futon in the living room. I personally loved the way it is decorated, and the kitchen and bathroom are both very nice and functional. We didn't use the garden room because we didn't want to be separated from the kids, and also because it doesn't have a bathroom, but if you are travelling with friends or much older kids this would be a great extra bedroom. We loved the backyard - it's great for eating outside. The neighborhood is perfect, in walking distance to so many things, and has some cute parks for the kids. There are also some great restaurants nearby (Cornucopia, La Perla). We will definitely stay here again!

This was our first time staying in a house instead of a hotel and I can say it was great. We were in town for a wedding and it was so nice to have a convienent place for everybody to hang out. The house is really cute and cozy, plus it is close to everything we needed to get to. We spent far less than we would have for two hotel rooms, plus were far more comfortable. I would definatly stay here again!
