Historic sites and happenings:
The lost colony has a play in the summer months, and the botanical gardens are open year round. The Wright Brothers Memorial is open year round as well as The NC Aquarium.
The beaches are open year round.
The Manteo Waterfront has lots of historical as well as the town of Manteo, as Andy Griffith lives in the Manteo area, and may be seen in Seamark Food Stores at times.
The Outer Banks Music Showcase is a big attraction this year with many of the local and well known coming to perform at the showcase, cost is minimal and tickets sell out fast, so book yours now.
There are loads of great places to eat and enjoy your vacation while on the outer banks of nc, so do enjoy.
There are golf ranges within a few miles of the condo, as well as shopping.
We have lots of sea life and aquariums here so make sure to see them all..
Shopping and just laying in the sun:
There are plenty of art galleries and different types of shows, in Manteo and in the historic district of Roanoke Island, there are the Elizabethan gardens, Manteo historic waterfront which has a special thing on the first Friday of each month, where the town opens up and has things in the evening and all day.
If you choose to go further south, you have Orcacoke Island and Hatteras Island, both have lighthouses and other things to keep you interested.
It is not enough time to do everything in one week, so come back next year and complete the list.
There is so much to see and do and we hope you enjoy all of it.

WE have the kitchen well stocked, as is the little goody closet right outside the master bedroom door... WE have provided 2 beach umbrellas with a sand holder for one, beach chairs, as well as pool noodles, mats to lay on, sand buckets, boogie boards and a number of other things....just return them when finished...
We have purchased a new mattress this year for the king bed, so I hope all will enjoy the new high king bed..
These are put there for your convenience of having at the beach not dragging them home with you.
