Everything you will need to make your stay enjoyable is provided in our one bedroom, second level Condo in building 7 at the Kihei Kai Nani Resort. Our Condo has a garden view and comes with a fully equipped kitchen, TV, DVD,CD player with Hawaiian music , air conditioning, free wireless internet, king-size bed, and queen-size sofa bed. Laundry facilities are located next to the large swimming pool.
Kihei Kai Nani is located on South Kihei Road, directly across from Kamaole Beach II where you can walk for miles from one sandy beach to the next. Kamaole beaches are perfect for safe swimming and snorkeling with lifeguards on duty.
Kamaole Shopping Center is within walking distance and offers restaurants, shopping, souvenirs, and light groceries.
Our Condo was upgraded with new cabinets, granite counters, and tile flooring. It is located in a quiet end of the complex away from the street noise.

We chose the Kai Nani for the great location.
Right across the street from three lovely beaches and walking distance to shops, restaurants and bars.
We enjoy snorkeling right across the street at Kam II beach. Swimming and boogie boarding as well as whale watching and Hawaiian sunsets are all great, right across the street.
Could not have picked a better place!
This is our 8th visit to Maui and this has been the best place ever! Basic clean comfortable condo that provides wonderful cooling island breezes! King size bed was comfy and nights are super quiet! The lanai view is of lush gardens with song birds and geckos! Laundromat and pool is close by. Kamaole Beach right across the street, great for swimming and snorkelling. Shopping and great restaurants a few steps away.
The unit and location provides everything you will need. Parking is great too!

This is our second stay at this condo. We had such a wonderful experience the first time, we had to return. We researched Maui far and wide before booking this condo and we were more than happy with our decision. Kihei is the perfect laid back beach town - not as resort-ish as Kaanapali, not as fancy as Wailea (we're not fancy people!) and with more amenities than the Napili area. We were also thrilled with the location of the Kihei Kai Nani - close to shops, restaurants and across from the BEST beach.
This condo is perfectly situated within the complex, far enough away from the street noise, close to the pool and very quiet. The lanai was private and facing a lovely green belt. It is only a 2 minute walk to the beach.
The owners have made sure that the condo has everything you'd need while staying there - from free WiFi, to a coffee maker to beach chairs/umbrella, and lots of towels.
We can't say enough about this condo. You simply cannot go wrong staying here and we're sure you'll feel the way we do, that this condo is a "home away from home" and we cannot wait to come back.
This condo is beautiful, light and airy, and a great place to relax after time on the beaches or at the very nice pool. Great 1 bedroom place with a bonus pull-out couch means that there's a lot of room in the living area. The lanai is also very quiet with lots of beautiful flowers and birds. I was worried it would be too far inland but it's so nice to not be on the road--it's a really quiet place even though it's very close to the beach and the main road.
Speaking of, this location is amazing--close to restaurants, a variety of stores (get the ice cream!), great walking paths, and three different beaches, each with great snorkelling and swimming options. If you have a car, it's just a short drive to some fantastic farmer's markets--a must-do if you enjoy fresh fruit. You can also rent a stand-up paddle board or take surfing lessons within walking distance. Oh, and the boogie boards and backpack-style beach chairs available in the condo are in great shape.
Great base for day-trips to elsewhere if you want to but don't feel obliged--Kihei is beautiful enough to spend your entire trip there.
It's always a pleasure to stay in Hawaii and have a condo with the right amenities. We enjoyed cooking our breakfasts and a few meals with super fresh fish we bought from Eskimo Candy fish market. The unit is perfectly stocked. We even enjoyed using the nifty pineapple corer/spiral slicer kitchen tool provided. We love that this unit was well off the road and on the top/second floor of this building. The only noise was from the birds in the wee hours of the morning. They love serenading you. Since it was exceptionally warm we did use the A/C which when moving the couch slightly away from the wall and positioning the fan in the hallway pointed toward the bedroom made for a good cool air flow into the room. We recommend getting out early for your snorkeling, stand up paddle boarding (SUP), surfing, etc by 8 and off the beach by 10 am or you may be sprayed with sand being kicked up by the trade winds by 10:30 am. The staff at the complex was super friendly and helpful. Stop by the office. They may have some treats available. They had some hand picked limes the day we did. Excellent Location in Southern Kihei--walking distance to large choice of restaurants and great places to ea and shopping. This condo is great location in the complex as it is situated well back from the road noise. The lanai looks out onto the well landscaped green space - it is quiet and peaceful.The staff and owners are definitly easy to deal with- very accomadating. The unit is very clean and loved the tile throughout-Kitchen is well stocked with all you need for meals. Just a short walk accross the street to Kam II Beach. The Condo complex itself has a very nice pool area--very clean and well maintained. Laundry facilities in pool area building were great --could lay at the pool in the afternoon and finish up the laundry for the day and borrow a book from the free Library.Fresh Mangoes were picked from the grounds and were available at the office. There was herb garden as well. Easy driving distance to Lahaina and the Volcano. Always sunny in Kihei --3 beaches close by-boogie boards-paddle boards and fabulous snorkelling too. Would recommend this unit for sure---will definitly be back :)
First off the location and the complex: The location could not be better in South Kehei! A walk to the front of the complex, cross the street and you are on a great beach with wonderful fine sand, and a rocky point with very good snorkeling (even saw some turtles hanging out there one day!) The grounds were very well kept, and that meant occasional noise from mowers/leaf blowers during the day. A basic pool with some a couple of shade canopies and some loungers. The pool is unheated, so in November it was on the chilly side. Plenty of parking when we were there in Nov '11.
The development is older, and the unit has had some updating. The furniture is in good shape, and the kitchen is well equipped (Awesome blender for turning all of that fresh tropical fruit in to smoothies) The kitchen has newer cabinents and counters, and the fridge was clean and roomy. We really liked the tile that ran through the condo onto the lanai. Lots of beach gear, mats, boogie boards, folding camping chairs and even some snorkel gear. The bed was fine, tho the linens were a bit worn (there were holes in the top sheet, but they did not impact the comfort.
To sum up, this condo was a very good value, and comfortable in a wonderful location. This is not a luxury unit, and if your expectations are reasonable, you will love it!
