This is the perfect 'base camp' for all your adventures in Winter Park, Fraser Valley and beyond. The two bedroom, two bath condo in Silverado II is centrally located in the town of Winter Park to access endless activities in any season. It is a five-minute walk to main street, restaurants, coffee shops, bars and shopping. The ski shuttle stops at the front door to take you to the Winter Park Resort base (easier than resort parking). The Condo is a second floor unit, overlooking an open field with three sunny decks providing views of the ski area and continental divide. The first bedroom sleeps two in queen bed and the second bedroom sleeps two in two twin beds. There is a spacious living room with a queen sleeper to comfortably sleep two more. It is family friendly, kid friendly and baby-equipped with toys, games, high chair and a pack-n-play for infant sleeping. Wireless Internet. The complex offers swimming pool, hot tub, game room, fitness center, on-site ski shop, and laundry.

Winter park is 65 miles from downtown Denver and 90 miles from Denver Intl Airport. The condo is located in the town of Winter Park, with a 5-10 minute walk to Main Street shopping, restaurants, bars, coffee shops, etc. Winter Park/Mary Jane Ski Area is 3 miles away and is either a short drive or shuttle ride. The Winter Park ski shuttle runs every 30 minutes and stops at the Silverado II front door. Summers at the resort are great with concerts, alpine slide, mini-golf, climbing walls, chair lift rides and plenty of mountain biking and hiking. Hiking, mountain biking, snowshoeing, sledding, fishing, parks, tennis, basketball and volleyball can all be accessed right out the back door of the condo. Four fantastic mountain golf courses are within a 20 minute drive. Short drives will take you to Rocky Mountain National Park, Continental Divide, Colorado River (fly fishing and rafting), Devil's Thumb Ranch (XC skiing, snowshoeing), Grand Lake and other Fraser Valley locations.

Notes: The Silverado II Complex has it all under one roof. There is an indoor pool, 2 hot tubs, and sauna. A Bar & Grill (open during ski season) so parents can have a drink while watching the kids swim. There is a game room (air hockey, Golden Tee, etc) and exercise facility (bike, treadmill, stair climber, etc). There is a full service ski shop for convenient rentals. There is also a covered parking garage, ski storage locker located in garage, and laundry room for maximum convenience. Our condo unit has everything you will need. It is child-friendly with toys, games, high chair, and pack-n-play for infant sleeping. There is a TV, DVD, VCR, Stereo, CD Player, and a decent movie selection. The full kitchen has an oven, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, and plenty of dishes, pans, glasses and cooking utensils. Bathrooms are equipped with towels, hair dryers, paper products, soap, etc.

There is also endless hiking trails along the Continental Divide, Winter Park ski area, Rocky Mountain National Park, National Forests, etc. Fly fishing is great on the mighty Colorado River or the smaller Fraser River. Kids love fishing on the Fraser fishing pond, or any of the surrounding mountain lakes. Down the street from Silverado, Wolf Park has a play area and outdoor tennis, basketball, and volleyball.
