Historic 1940's Cabin in the wonderful private community of Timberlake. 200 feet of private beach frontage with wonderful northern Michigan sunsets. Property sits on about 5 acres of private land.

Walking distance to the Good Hart store for most of your needs. Short drive into Harbor Springs or Mackinac for shopping and/or sight seeing.

Amen to Bill's review from '09! This destination is delightful in every way. It's quiet, charmingly rustic and absolutely as represented by the owners. The sunsets are unrivaled. They've added a new picnic table where we took evening nourishment every night we were there: we raced home from Mackinac Is. one evening so as to eat at that table and enjoy the sunset. The kayaks were enjoyed every day. We were there with 5 adults and six kids ages 13 mo to almost 10 years. The owners were great to work with. I would gladly recommend this property except that I don't want anyone else to clutter up the calendar so as to complicate the scheduling of our return. Thanks for a wonderful week!

The photos do not do this property justice. It is everything as advertised and better than anything up in that area. It sits directly on the beach. The 200 feet seems like you own then entire beach becuase of a peninsula that runs out. The water is beautiful and the beach is fun for the whole family. The cabin is really unique. It has a loft that kids absolutely love, the master suite is away from the rest of the rooms and the kitchen is classic 1940's that leads out to an awesome living area with large bay windows that looks at the lake. The porche is perfect for evenings watching the sun melt into lake Michigan.
It was absolutely perfect and I will be back time and time again.
Thank you to the owners, who are wonderful nice people that made our stay one of the best vacations I've ever experienced.
