Long Beach---Best Ocean Views in all SoCal!!!: Three minute walk to beach for sunbathing, swimming, fishing, wind/sail surfing, kayaking and boogie boarding...or just breathing in the salt air while strolling thru the surf...very healing...ask me. One minute walk to Passport Bus to Belmont Shore/Downtown Long Beach. Downtown Long Beach is just a short bus ride away with The Queen Mary and Russian Sub, Aquarium, Performing Arts Center, New Pike Development (Shopping, eateries, entertainment), Convention Center and the Catalina Express Terminal. By train, tour bus or car, you will find Disneyland, Knotts Berry Farm, Medieval Time and Pirates Dinner Adventures/ Universal Studios, Movieland Wax Museum and Hollywood. 18-36 miles. 10 to 20 minutes to 3 Freeways...15 to 45 minutes to three International Airports...two International Cruise Line Terminals. You can stroll, walk, run, ride a bike or drive, Maybe a harbour cruise on a sailing ship or a 1 hour express to Catalina Island. How about that nap you been promising yourself.

We stayed at the Casa Blanca property on June 2009 and we felt right at home. Tom, the owner, was at the property and was nice enough to show us around. We felt right at home and would definitely be staying here again! This place is so close to the beach that we walked on the beach every night.

Nice getaway

We spent our Thanksgiving at Casa Blanca, and it was a very good value for our money. We were 3 young families with 1 little child (6+1 persons) and the house fitted our needs perfectly.
We started to look pretty late for an accommodation for our Thanksgiving mini-vacation, which we planned to spend with our friends from Atlanta somewhere in the warmer part of California and close to L.A., and we had very big luck to find this place. The owner was friendly and ready to help us to find solutions for all our concerns. The owner told us since the first phone conversation that he wants to feel ourselves in their property as good as in our own home, and indeed, we had everything we needed at our disposal. The apartment was clean and comfortable.
I do not give maximum rating for this property, only because of the following (minor) issues: the tv was not set up for all the available channels (the owner said that he already called the cable guy, but I suppose they did not come because they were not working during the holidays); we had problems with the bed in the 3rd bedroom (which we solved with the kind help of the owner); and because the heating was not evenly distributed in all 3 rooms (which should not be an issue if the outside temperature are not very low, or if you are not using the 3rd bedroom, or the person in the 3rd bedroom doesn't mind sleeping with a running heater, which makes noise by blowing warm air).
All in all, our mini-vacation was very nice, we had a good time, and we enjoyed staying at Casa Blanca.
