Bonnie, what a find!! Don't change anything & ditto to all the other comments before us. Thank you for the details and the cleanliness.
We will certainly be back & will recommend friends.
Wishing you much happiness.
We thoroughly enjoyed our two week stay in the Pinon Studio. At first we were looking for a one-bedroom unit, but the studio had everything we needed and we were surprised that it was larger than the impression we had from the online photos. Everything about it was so comfortable… the furnishings and bright decor, the well-equipped kitchen, convenient washer and dryer, lots of storage, lots of light from big windows, fast wifi, cable tv, the private patio, fenced area for our dog and spacious off-street parking. The location has quick access to Hwy 599 and it’s easy to get to downtown Santa Fe, or north towards Abiquiu and Taos. Thank you, Bonnie and Deb. You were so welcoming and accommodating. We are so thankful that we selected your peaceful studio retreat.
I had heard about this property via word of mouth. I stayed in the Pinon Studio for over a month and loved it. The studio is very spacious, colorful, and bright and it's great to have a kitchen with a big refrigerator and lots of closet space. I am a single woman in transition and this is a very safe upscale neighborhood for women traveling alone. Bonnie is so welcoming and helpful you feel as if this truly is your home for as long as you stay. Many of her guests return and and again year after year for extended stays and it's easy to understand why. The property is lovely and it's really relaxing to have your own private patio to enjoy the peace and quiet, birds, and rabbits. I highly recommend this property.
My recent 3-night stay at Artists Hacienda exceeded all my expectations. The natural beauty of the surrounding hills is perfectly echoed in the impeccably decorated suite. I'm a very picky person and I could not find a thing I would change, add, or delete....much to my partner's delight! Even the smallest details, like the silverware holder, were tasteful as well as functional. The owner, Bonnie, supplies a 1st class item for every comfort and convenience a traveler could have; including two adorable small dogs that will come and greet you good morning every day if you leave your door open. My only regret was not being able to stay longer to soak up more of the peaceful serenity of this lovely property. I will never stay anywhere else in Santa Fe.
This vacation was the one of the most restful yet active vacations I have taken!!! I walked on the surrounding trails and neighborhoods for miles and it was just perfect, yet downtown was only a couple miles away. It was the best and I'm still wondering why I came home early (life gets in the way)!!!
I will not go anywhere else in Santa Fe now that I have found this oasis and I can't wait to go back. The owner Bonnie was great and was there if you needed her and left you alone when you didn't. She has done an excellent job with this property and it leaves nothing to be desired. I would recommend this to anyone who likes a bit of privacy with lots of charm and comforts of your own little guest house. It is too beautiful for words!!! Go here, you won't be sorry !!!!
Will never forget the art and charm of this unit. Great stay, clean, comfortable and peaceful.
Thoughtful design and use of space to provide all of the luxuries you need. Owner was easy and considerate to work with. Highly recommend to friends. Short drive to shops, galleries and dinning. Peaceful, private, and quiet patios for soaking up sun and relaxation.
My wife and I, both retired and visitors to Santa Fe many times, found the Aspen Suite to be just about perfect - quiet garden hillside with good views and wildlife, lots of place to relax outside, even a koi pond.. The interior is really a very oversize (immaculate) room with a kitchenette on one wall, a great queen bed, wi-fi, and comfortable seating, great lighting (how many places practically require a flashlight for reading), large operable windows and a fake fireplace (looked great without the work that accompanies a real one). I LOVED the large jacuzzi (separate room that also has a steam shower) and used it morning and night for both enjoyment and my perenially sore back. Very few stairs to worry about either. Ten minutes to the plaza by car (too far to walk). Both Deb and Bonnie, who live on site (always a great advantage in my opinion) were friendly and helpful hosts, even insisting on a restaurant we needed to try (it was good and moderately priced) and giving us extra ice from their own fridge (the one in the unit is very small). Don't let Santa Fe prices discourage you as there are lots of reasonale eateries and shops in addition to the fabulous (and pricey) art. The hosts have three small, cute and friendly dogs that will want to share your private patio with you. That was fine with us, and I suspect if you don't like dogs they would be dealt with to your satisfaction. We will return to the Aspen Suite the next time we are in Santa Fe. We stayed five nights, which is just about right for us.
