This gorgeous chalet in a beautiful park-like setting is located in a small mountain town Murphy nestled in the Western NC Mountains. The beautifully furnished and elegantly decorated cabin features hardwood flooring throughout the cabin, high-vaulted pinewood ceiling, a spacious master bedroom with a queen bed and a private bath. The guest room has a queen-size bed and a full bath off the hall. Large windows offer beautiful views of the peaceful setting and the pond.

There are many lakes around the area with picnic spots and walking trails. The beautiful Cherokee Lake is only minutes away by car. You can rent a boat, take a walk in the forest, or just relax on the porch and listen to the running stream on the bench by the pond. Out family loved staying at this cabin. The photos are 100% accurate and it was extremely clean. We like to do outdoor activities an this cabin is close to white water rafting, hiking, and tubing.
There is so much to do and had a wonderful time.

Gorgeous Cabin - relaxing vacation

We loved our stay!!. The moment you step in this beautiful place you are totally in the different world. The place is light and airy with high beam ceilings. The elegant furnishing and different decor accents all make you feel you are in a special place. The grounds around the cabin are thoughtfully designed. There is a stone-laid path to the pond and a charming gazebo down next to the pond. The creek is rushing behind it. I'd definitely recommend this cabin and hope to return as soon as our busy schedule permits.

The cabin was great! Had an unforgettable moment. It was very warming and had all amenities. Would defenitly go again. Internet was a bit slow but didn't deterred our stay. My daughters liked very much and are asking when we will go again it is exactly as shown.

Quiet Retreat

Cabin was well laid out and adequately maintained. Has a romantic gazebo about 100 feet down a path at the base of the property. 10 minute drive into Murphy, NC. 15 minute drive from Martin Campbell Field (1A3) on the TN side of the border. Only issue was with the old tube TVs which were insufficient for the living space and had to be set up. GREAT value for the money!

wonderful, relaxing with fun for the whole family

There were 4 of us: an 11 year old and a 17 year old , both boys, my husband, and me. The house was extremely clean and had everything you needed and more in terms of bedding, towels and kitchen stuff. It did not feel like a rental, but like home. All light wood inside and out, nicely decorated. Murphy is about 10 miles away, so make sure you get all you need when you go through town unless you want to drive back and forth. The town itself has great tennis courts, soccer and baseball fields and the people are nice and friendly. Cute farmer's market on Saturdays too. Everyday we did something fun: biking to Cherokee Lake, renting a pontoon in Hiawasee lake to see the falls, rafting in Nantahala Falls, hiking the Appalachian Trail in Blood Mountain, covering some of the scenic drives. Don't leave without a taste of the BBQ place between Murphy and the house, delish!
