Notes: We have 3 seperate lounging/relaxing rooms within the home, all are equipped with comfy furniture cable tv's and either DVD players or VCRs. Beautiful, spacious home!

Property and location were just as described. A beautiful house just a few blocks from the downtown and the beach. Great deck for cooking out and a spacious kitchen. Tons of room inside so if you have several people, like we did, you can spread out and you don't feel like you are on top of eachother! The owners were readily available and had great communication from the time we booked to when we promptly received our deposit back. The town has so many fun restaurants and shops! Great wineries close by and the beach is beautiful! It was hard to beleive we weren't at the ocean! It was a perfect place for our family reunion. We loved our stay and highly recommend this house!

Family Reunion 2009

Our family was looking for a new place to connect for our annual reunion. We found South Haven, Michigan and Kathryn Manor suprisingly wonderful. This clean home accommodated our large family; having the separate sitting rooms allowed everyone enough privacy, yet togetherness. We enjoyed dinners on the back deck, the spacious dining room table for cards, meals and games and the quaintness of the home.

We loved the sunsets, went blueberry picking, visited Sherman's Dairy for amazing ice cream, went to Adventure Land Park, visited playgrounds, shopping, golf, movies, restaurants and didn't mind the walk to the lake. We recommend the home and hope others enjoy their stay as much as we did.

Just wanted 2 say that staying in Kathryn Manor was the best vacation we have had in along time. We enjoyed walking 2 the beach and the kids had much enjoyment playing hide-in-seek bc the house is so BIG. There is so much space and the house is well kept. We will be back next year THANKS Donna Wenk

Enchanting!

This summer we stayed at the Kathryn Manor during Labor Day Weekend. We didn't know what to expect but we were pleasantly surprised to walk in the front door and find a beautiful home and a "welcome" step back into time with beautiful wood floors, antique furnishings, enchanting and quaintly decorated bedrooms, spiral staircase and yet we had the modern conveniences of a large kitchen, laundry room, spacious deck with grills, comfortable furnitures and entertainment centers. Our family enjoyed our stay in South Haven - the sunsets, the sandy beaches, wonderful shops and the art show were all great and to stay in a comfortable home like Kathryn Manor was a bonus. We highly recommend this home for a family vacation and the owners were delightful and easy to work with.

Mostly we enjoyed the stay. A couple of negatives - the tv set upstairs did not work, and the ones downstairs had intermittent trouble with cable.
I suggest adding another couch to the front sitting area instead of the trunk that is there - it would allow more people to gather there and sit together.
The big negative was the noisy teenagers next door who were partying late at night - however, this was not under the control of Anne at our house, just bad timing that we were there the same week as them!
We enjoyed the character of the house, and it was easy to walk into town for everything.
