Great house

This house was the perfect place for us (5 adults) to call home for the weekend. Spacious and clean with lots of big windows and a great deck. The bathroom is spacious and well laid out. The house is very comfortable and just minutes to downtown Lake Placid. Lots of shopping and Olympic sites to see there-but be prepared to hunt for parking. There are municipal pay-per-hour lots but they get pretty crowded. On street parking in the city is hard to come by, but it is definitely a must see. When parking at the house, be careful to not to park in front of the homemade sign in the driveway at the bottom of the stairs. It was a little confusing to us, we thought we were supposed to park there. When the person renting the apt downstairs came home, he was none to happy that we were in his spot. We moved our cars and all was well after that. Don't miss the maple farm just down the road! The owners were very accomodating and so easy to deal with. I would definitely stay here again when visiting the area.
