Pocasset Vacation Rental house

We were lucky enough to rent this home for 2 nights to attend the burial service of Mom as she joined Dad and was laid to rest at MA National Cemetery, Bourne. We are from FL and we were joined by family from SC and NY. Seven of us stayed the 1st nite and 8 the following. Accomodations were just what we needed. We felt "at home" as soon as we walked in.
We had a gathering at the home after the service for about 30 folks. We ordered deli trays from Grand Union grocery store and NE Clam Chowder from the Lobster Trap, both recommended by the owner. Perfect for a rainy cool day. The home had everything necessary for the gathering, including a stock pot, serving trays, etc. Even with bad weather, the home was comfortable. The wireless internet, crayons, games and puzzles kept little ones entertained. The covered deck was perfect for the smokers (yuck!). Non-smokers gathered comfortably in the kitchen, living area and enclosed porch. It was such a nice setting to remember Mom and Dad and laugh about the good times and memories that will live on forever.
The only small drawback about the home was the limited parking. We had to park family and friends down at the end of the street and shuttle them back and forth. The home can accomodate 3 vehicles in the drive and there is no room to park on the street.
We would love to come back to this home again for a longer stay and not for a burial! I can't wait to see what future renovations will be like because they did such a great job on the upstairs bathroom.
