Our Santa Fe Experience

We rented this double unit (4 bdrns, 4 ba) for a family reunion in Santa Fe. The units were charming and had all the household items we needed and then some. Everything worked. And parking was very convenient. The Owners were most helpful.

This was an excellent location for walking to Canyon Rd and to the square. I highly recommend this place.

We loved this house! We were a group of ten women on a "girls trip" to Santa Fe. The house was perfect for us and is in a very convenient location.

Some good qualities

The place was very spacious, and all four bedrooms contained a bathroom, which was a huge plus. The house is about a 10 minute walk to the Plaza, which was attractive to us. Owners were delightful, engaging, and very helpful with suggestions and tips. However, the house did not seem to be professionally cleaned upon our arrival. The showers were moldy and the kitchen utensils required a good scrubbing before use. In addition the furniture and carpets were tired, dated, and/or dirty. Internet dial-up access is slow, and most painful, cell phones do not work as the house sits in a dead spot (using AT&T).
Owner's Response: I am so sorry the renters were not as happy as might be. Cell phones do work fine. We all have them and this is the only person who has been unable to use their cell phone. The house is in and old but prestigious part of town. All of the houses are old homes and as this is a rental it does not receive the same level of care as one's own home. The carpets are indeed only two years old but sadly are not treated as one's own. The furniture is very SW or Santa Fe style so they are truly not outdated. But they are large and location, location, location.

Charming, fully equipped, spacious

Secluded yet close to everything we wanted to see - the Square, galleries, historic Churches, museums, restaurants. You definitely need a car to get around. We booked both "casitas" because we were 5 women staying together. Two of the bedrooms were on the main floor and the other two, up one flight of stairs. If you have a party larger than 4 adults and need a place with "no stairs" this wouldn't work for you. The owners were extremely helpful with directions, grocery store locations, suggestions for Pueblos to visit, etc. All in all, a most enjoyable place to stay.
