Beautiful (but not for a Harley)

Beautiful casita. Well furnished and very comfortable.

But............. if you plan on parking your big motorcycle, think twice. The parking area is 3 inches of loose gravel. Your choices are to park on the street two doors down or plow your way into the driveway.

Perfect 7 day Santa Fe Home!

  • 5 of 5
Decided to spend my 50th birthday week at the Spanish Bell and so glad I did. It was exactly what I had hoped for and more. Nicely furnished, cozy and comfortable. The couch was definitely a good sleeping spot with several naps, the king size bed was very comfortable and enjoyed many late evenings hanging out in the living room. The kitchen was smaller than I expected but within 5 minutes of being in there I realized it was the perfect size for a single person in the kitchen. The Spa supplies in the bathrooms was a nice touch and loved having washer/dryer my last night there. I was very pleased with everything that the Spanish Bell had to offer and when I had one very minor problem come up having to do with a set of cranky blinds, Gonzalo responded quickly and the issue was corrected that day.

The Spanish Bell is easily within walking distant to the heart of the Guadalupe District and to the Historic Plaza. Also not a bad but slightly longer walk to the art area of Canyon Road. Should also add as a solo female traveler I felt very safe staying in this location.

All and all, it was exactly what I was looking for and more. Would definitely recommend staying here and in fact have already done so to a family member! If I should come back to visit Santa Fe, I will be staying here again.

Thank you

We really enjoyed this well-equipped and cozy little place. Everything we needed was supplied and it is so convenient to the Plaza- walked to town, rarely needed to move our car. Lots of interesting touches in decor. Would love to return for another visit. I have already recommended it to my friends! Gonzalo (the owner) was pleasant and helpful and very easy to deal with.

Home at last.

  • 5 of 5
I used to live in New Mexico and return to Santa Fe and Albuquerque as often as I can. I loved staying here and will return. The neighborhood reminds me of how Santa Fe used to be in the '60's when I first lived here...the quiet narrow streets, the adobes, the friendly people. This casita has a very well equipped kitchen...I produced a dinner of chicken marsala one evening for a friend, and a nice lunch for two others on another day. It is close to everything including the Railrunner train station, the farmer's market at the railyard, etc. The rooftop terrace is a nice touch and this plus the patios with their rustic furnishings offer perfect places for a glass of wine. Bliss!

Stay at the Spanish Bell

  • 5 of 5
Our weeklong stay at the Spanish Bell casita exceeded our expectations. We especially appreciated the comfortable king size bed upstairs. The casita is clean, comfortable and full of charm. The location is excellent, being one street from the very happening Guadalupe District, yet it was also very quiet neighborhood. The owner was very easy to work with. Thanks Gonzalo for a wonderful stay!

Cozy Casita

  • 5 of 5
We had stayed at this casita the previous year............coming into the front gate and opening the door was like coming home. The room was flooded with afternoon sun, as well as the bedroom upstairs.

The fond memories of the previous year held true. We will definitely stay here again. Thank you Gonzalo for another perfect vacation stay...........please don't change a thing about the casita!
