Your beautiful, spacious Tarpon Pond Cottage is located in the quiet, secluded woods section of Seabrook Island, just a short distance to the Seabrook Island Club and the beach! Seabrook boasts three and a half miles of pristine, unspoiled white sand beach, perfect for watching the dolphins at play, searching for seashells and sand dollars, biking along the waters edge or playing in the ocean! This gated community is the perfect getaway to relax and enjoy with your family and friends. An open floor plan with vaulted ceilings, three bedrooms and a sleeping loft complete this bright and spacious cottage. The master bedroom has a queen bed with a full bath attached. The 2nd bedroom has a full bed, with the 3rd bedroom and loft each having 2 twin beds. The sunroom is perfect for playing cards, reading a book or working on your computer with the DSL hook-up included with your rental! TVs/DVDs/CD player, stereo/CD player and DirecTV complete the package.

Notes: The house is fully furnished with all the comforts of home. We supply all the towels and linens with the exception of beach towels. The kitchen is fully stocked with many conveniences you would want. We try to keep basic condiments and staples available for your use. For your added convenience, we have beach chairs, bicycles, an umbrella for the beach, coolers, sand toys, a variety of sporting equipment, boogie boards and a cart to haul everything to the beach in! Amenity cards to The Seabrook Island Club are included with your rental. These cards give you access to the two championship golf courses, 3 pools, tennis club, fitness center and Equestrian Center. There is also DSL hookup for your computer!

End of summer getaway!

My family and I spend four fun-filled days at Seabrook Island in late August of 2008. The Bucks' home was beautiful. There are three bedrooms downstairs and a loft upstairs, which provides plenty of room for eight or even 10 guests'. All that you need to bring are clothes and toiletries and a few beach towels and you are pretty much set to have fun. You will need a car for sure, unless your pretty fit and don't mind walking or riding a bike. My advice would be to get there a day early and explore the area, because it can be a bit confusing to the first time traveler. Hope this review was helpful.

Great family rental with a personal touch

This is a comfortable, cozy house, very well equipped and personally furnished and decorated. It is not the most modern house in every respect but well maintained and very livable. The location is good and quiet. The owners are extremely accomodating and friendly, trying to make your stay as good as possible. The only reason for not giving five suitcases is that the house is shaded by trees all around and when renting during the winter months this is not an advantage if you like to get some sunshine on the decks.
