Location, Location, Location. On Okemo Mountain, Winter activities include skiing at Okemo, so why not rent a Okemo Ski house on the mountain? Shuttle drops you off at your front door or a short 2 minute drive. Skating /sledding at the town recreation area which is within walking distance to house. Snow shoe starting from your back door. Cross country skiing at the Okemo Mountain golf course which is two miles away. Snow mobile on the Vast snow mobile trails which can be accessed from the house. Summer activities include swimming and fishing from the lake, so why not rent a house right next to the lake? Hiking from your back door, picnic in the 100 acre meadow behind the house. Boating on nearby Lake Rescue, waterfalls at Buttermilk Falls, plays at the Weston play house. Golfing at the highly ranked Okemo Valley Golf course or ten other local courses. Or just a late afternoon barbeque on the oversized deck with sunken 8 person hot tub.

Ideal For Our Mini Family Reunion

This spacious but cozy house was ideal for our mini family reunion. The children absolutely loved the 4 sturdy bunk beds in what they dubbed their Bunk Room and the teenagers camped out in the lower apt. w/ TV. The adults were more than happy in their 3 comfortable bedrooms - especially the lucky couple who drew the top floor master king BR and its spa-like adjoining master bathroom w/ jacuzzi tub. We all eventually congregate on the main floor - the large fireplace naturally draws everyone into the cavernous living room lounging in oversized sofas and loveseats. A pool table and foos ball table as well as a flat screen tv provided plenty of entertainment for everyone. Outside the living room is a beautiful deck with a huge hot tub and industrial grade barbeque grill. From the deck and inside the living room, the views of the mountains are breathtaking. Our favorite feature of this house though, is the dining area with enormous dining table for 20 - our 14-month old presided at the head of the table. The open kitchen makes dinner time easy to manage as there is plenty of room for all the chefs and kitchen helpers to scurry around.

Family members were able to take time off for long weekend and we found this great house. Young kids had big back yard to run around and sports fans were equally satisfied with big screen tv. Fireplace, foosball and pool table, outdoor hot tub (with outdoor speakers) kept everyone entertained in spacious great room and beyond. Owner was very helpful with giving suggestions on hiking, shopping, and dining destinations - more than we were able to cover.

Great family reunion

My kids did an impromptu family get-together for 4-days. Nice weather gave us great view of foliage around lake and field as backdrop beyond deck with outdoor hot tub. My grand daughter loved the great room, plenty of space for her to run around. Large grassy backyard and nearby rec area was also a big hit with grand kid. We're planning to come back with more members of the clan.

Family Reunion

House was absolutely everything we had hoped it would be and more. The perfect place to kick back and enjoy family after a few runs - thank you! And waking up to that view in the morning was amazing - it was hard to leave!
From sledding, ice skating, hiking, billiards, foosball, the hot tub, Okemo mtn. 3 minutes away, a great room that easily accommodates 15 people and a pleasant and efficient owner - what more do you need?
