A great find close to the slopes

We were lucky enough to enjoy the long MLK weekend at the Cherry Lane Lodge, a beautiful, clean and quiet location close to Camelback, and 20 minutes away from our destination, Alpine Mountain. The house is charming, both inside and out, and met our needs perfectly. We were able to sleep 3 sets of parents in the three bedrooms, and three kids on the sleeper sofa and foldout chair in the living room. The innovative fireplace that occupies one corner of the living room was a big hit, but made the upstairs very warm, until we learned to redirect the heat back with the ceiling fans! The owner was out first thing in the morning after a big snowfall to plow us out, allowing us to make our 10 ski lessons with ease, and the owners provided great communication during the planning of our stay.
This trip is turning into a tradition with our friends and I hope we are able to enjoy Cherry Lane lodge again.
