Description of the Hague vacation cabin rental
This rustic Adirondack cabin features a spectacular porch inches from the water with unparalleled views of Lake George (best sleeping porch on Lake George! - imagine being lulled to sleep by the water lapping on the beach just below you!). A beautiful sandy beach is formed by the outcropping of Calamity Rock. In 1856 The John Jay steamer boat struck Calamity Rock and sunk. It remains visible through the crystal clear water at the mouth of the cove to the delight of snorkelers and divers. The cabin includes three bedrooms (master bath - double bed, bedroom 2 - double bed, bedroom 3 - twin bunk beds), one full bathroom, fully equipped kitchen, VCR, CD player, and cable TV, and a fabulous porch and beach patio. Private dock included on the property as well as gas grill. Lots of books, puzzles, and games for family fun and relaxation. This is the perfect spot to 'drop out' and enjoy beautiful Lake George.

Located just north of the hamlet of Hague. 1/2 mile to 'downtown' Hague with cafes, post office, general store, antique stores, boat rentals, public park with playground. Ten minute drive to Historic Ft. Ticonderoga and several Revolutionary War ruins, museums, and ferry to Vermont. The beautiful 18-hole, par 72, golf course at the Ticonderoga Country Club is open to the public, quite inexpensive for play, and will challenge both new and seasoned golfers. If you ever want to leave the water's edge, you'll find easy access to the high peaks of the Adirondacks, scenic Vermont, Six Flags amusement park, outlet shopping, and a myriad of other diversions.
