Some of the major attraction for staying at this house is that it is centrally located and has a lot of room for everyone to be comfortable. It is only 6 years old. It has a massage chair down stairs. Many of the guest say that they like being able to drive north to Hanalei (25 minutes) for the day and then come back to the east for the night. The next day you might drive to the south shore or west side and then back to the house for the night. It is just very convenient with more thing to do in Kapaa and Lihue. Parking is right next to the house. No Mosquitoes. There are no houses in front of you to the ocean. through your private gate is a cement pad and the Kapaa Lili State Park. The house is easy to access from the main highway, right in the heart of downtown Kapaa, but yet private and quite. You can walk to shopping, dining, beaches, banking, and much more. This is the best Value for your own home close to a beautiful, uncrowded, swimmableable beach.

Nearest Beach: beach at 0.1 Miles

The local area is called the east side. It has Kealei beach and baby beach. The new bike and walk trail will be a fabulous state and county keep up trail that will go right along the beach on the east side for miles with rest rooms and eating areas up and down the trail. No where else on the island will they have anything like that. There are also local farmers markets every week with fresh grown Kaui produce and fruits. Several bakeries are on the east side. Then of course you have the major water falls on the east side and the only navigable river-- the Waialua River to explore and have fun on. Kayaks are available to go up the river.

You sliding glass door opens to the 8foot lanai and the jacuzzi. the king size bed is a pillow top mattress-- best money can buy. when the trades winds blow, the breeze goes right through the house and the bedroom and you sleep great. the house also has high beam ceilings for extra room, comfort and air circulation. Bedroom 2 & 3 are down stairs with a full bathroom and wash room.

What a great vacation
This house was great. We really liked how easy it was to just park right in front of the house and not have to walk a long way to the hotel room or condo like we had to do on our other vacations to Hawaii.
Next we loved the house. It is much bigger than we thought. It has everything. The new 52" Sony HD TV was a surprise because you never see that in a vacation rental.
The owner goes out of his way to get the best he can for his guest in the house.
The kids really loved baby beach. We spent more time there than any other beach for the kids. We have two boys 3 & 7 years old. The people at the baby beach we so nice and friendly. We got to know many of them had just had the best time with barbeques right on the beach.
Then on the other side of the new bridge was Kapaa bay and the new ocean front walk and bike path that went for over 10 miles. We walked it almost every day for about an hour. Last time we were on Kauai we stayed in Poipu on the south side.
We like the location much better of this house in Kapaa because it is more central to the Island and not as crowded as the south shore. The owner showed us some of the secret spots that were not crowded and beautiful.
Then the surfing lessons that the owner set us up with was so much fun for the whole family. I never thought that I could surf. But I did it and have the pictures to show all my girls friends back home. Of course my sons just want to surf all the time now, but they will just have to wait until we get back.
It was nice to eat right on the lanai with the ocean and stream view. There is a large park right out in front of the house that was fun for the family to play around on.
It is just a great house and a great value.
I really shopped around and could not find anything even close to the internet price that the owner was offering.
All in all, the house and the aloha was great.
