Canyon Lake House Rental Photos and Description
- 2 BR, 2 BA, .
House has large kitchen, dining and living area with fireplace and windows across width of house overlooking Canyon Lake. There are 3 additional 'living areas' outside: the 'back' porch directly off the house with ceiling fans and a large picnic table that seats 10; the lower deck with two tables providing seating for 8; a stone patio nestled in oaks and cedars just above the Lake level. A hot tub is on a separate extended deck where evenings can be enjoyed under the star-lit night and overlooking the Lake. Deer visit each morning and evening looking for corn (and in between if you will feed them). Many will eat from your hand. Enjoy water activities in front of the house where you can kayak, boat, sail or play with PWC's. They can be anchored just offshore. Or if you prefer, take a swim and enjoy the cool, refreshing Lake. You may prefer to sit on the swing on the back porch and just watch others below enjoying water activities.
What you have to look forward to!: Feed the deer that congregate at the front door (some will feed from your hand!). Watch the numerous boaters/jet-skiers and other water activity from the privacy of the back porch or lower deck. Enjoy the hot tub while watching the sunset over Canyon Lake or the moon rise above you--or a star-lit night with a shooting star or two--or three! Take the steps down to the Lake to take a dip in the cool. clear, refreshing water of Canyon Lake. Get the kids and go fishing at the water's edge. These are just a few of the amenities available to you if you decide to 'hang' around the house.
Don't Forget to Plan Carefully for the Sunset!: Gather round with your cool refreshments of choice and settle in to watch the unforgettable sunset. Each evening is different so you don't want to miss the show! As the fireball finally settles down behind the hills, toast the wonderful day, ring the bell (located on the back porch) and plan for the next fun-filled day!

Just wanted to drop you a line and tell you how much we enjoyed our stay. Your home is beautiful, very well kept and exceptionally well appointed we lacked for nothing. My children loved the whole experience lake, deer, etc. You will definitely be hearing from us again. How far in advance do you accept bookings?

We love the Hill Country and environment. There are so many activities in the area--we are half way between San Antonio and Austin. With such convenience, we have best of all worlds--water and related activities, beautiful scenery, rural living but close proximity to major metropolitan areas.
