Photos and Description of the Trumansburg vacation cottage rental 2 Bedrooms, 1 full Bathroom, 1 half bathroom, Sleeps 8 with sofabeds

West Shore Cayuga Lake. Very cute, quiet, water level. Covered porch, deck, 60' dock. Shallow water at shore (for kids) but you can dive off the dock. Boating, fishing, etc... Shore line lies predominately East and West so our cottage gets both sunrise and sunset, a feature only our part of the lake can brag about. Taughannock Falls State Park is 1/2 mile to the south. Our Cottage is one level with a few steps to the beach. You can drive to the door but, it is a very steep road (AWD or 4x4) required. We have many happy, satisfied returning guests, some for many years.

The view of the lake--on the water!--is great. However, the "house" is horrrible. It is a large storage shed of a building--bugs, lack of maintenance, dirty. It needs a lot of painting and cleaning up. The door between the bedrooms won't even close--and yet all it needs is a bit of planing. I will never rent this property again.

My family had a fantastic vacation on the lake. The view from the cottage is beautiful. The kids enjoyed jumping off the dock and fishing too.

There were more bugs than I was comfortable with in the cottage. Not sure if that could be prevented because of the cliff side setting.
