This Condominium is situated 1 mile from the most beautiful beaches of Aruba (2 min. drive). It is well furnished with all possible equipment (wireless internet, audio, blender, TV, Air-co, cooking etc..). Also a television on the bedroom. The swimming pool is just in front of the apartment. You can do your laundry in a washing house on 10 yards. Your host will help you and is to your disposal when needed. Hiring cars is easy and cheap nearby the condominium or on the airport. We LOVED Wacamaya

Hi Anita,
We really had a great time in Aruba! It was our first time there and we are seriously thinking about going back next year.
We LOVED Wacamaya- it is a great location, and the gardens and pool area made it extra special, and it was affordable! It's a gem, and we looked forward to getting "home" after a day out and about. We even hung out poolside one afternoon, which was very pleasant. It was never crowded, and when we did see people around, it was quite entertaining. We met some very nice people.
Our apartment was fine, not too fancy by any means but the important things were there- like a good bed, a functioning kitchen, good shower, easy access parking, the convenience of having a grocery store nearby, the location to activities was perfect.
The only problem we had was getting to the apartment from the airport!! Believe it or not! We somehow made the mistake of following the sign for the Calif. lighthouse a bit too early and boy did we go in circles! It only took an hour and half!! Ha! Other than that learning experience, we had no problems getting around.
Anita was very helpful, answered all my questions before and during our trip, and we did get to meet one evening when we were dining on our little porch-

you were a queen of charm and professionalism, you just made whole process easy and uncomplicated.
Wacamaya was everything it is described to be on the rental site. That was such a relief because in past have been disappointed many times when complex

This was our first trip to Aruba and, as independent travelers, we were a little concerned about Aruba's reputation for high rise hotels, casinos, cruise ships, and glitz. No need to worry if you stay at this location. The condo is tucked away on a local street in the northwest corner of the island, a five minute drive to some beautiful small beaches. Twenty five condos are built in a complex surrounding a large pool with water falls and gardens. The accommodations are comfortable, with all the amenities we needed (with the exception of internet access). The atmosphere is relaxing; it helped to have the entire property well-maintained and spotless. We snorkeled alot, swam some, walked and jogged on the local roads, hiked into some beautiful cactus fields in the national park, and were charmed by the warm winds which blew all the time. We did one day of exploring the hotel row, which is very beautiful, but we were happy to return to our little piece of Aruba. Yes, we would recommend this place to friends, and seriously consider going back to stay there.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Romantic Getaway
