Perfect for family reunions, explorers or a group of friends. This unique area of Colorado is a privately-held lake, no out of state license required. The views, and tranquility are breathtaking. Bathrooms are new, and beautiful granite counter tops! We've had numerous guests over the past few years, and for the price and space were satisfied. Don't believe in additional per person fees for your rented space. Heated driveway.

Wifi on site . Large family, or lots of friends? Huge kitchen to cook up those big dinners (downstairs wet bar and double oven) and combine everyone in one location. Pets are Welcome! Zip lining, Wild Wolf Park, and the Dinosaur Museum is also located in the vicinity. One hour from the Colorado Springs Airport. And, Santas Northpole for visiting the elves!!

About Mountain Properties

Graduated at St Marys in Colorado Springs and attended College in Michigan. Now we're grandparents of some of the cutest 7 grand babies!

Mountain Properties purchased this house in 1993

Why Mountain Properties chose Woodland Park

over the past few years we've had some of the same families come and enjoy our property. No crowds to fish, peace, and extra amenities you and your family will enjoy. Our maintenance man is close by for the unexpected and has worked for us for 12 years.

What makes this house unique

Walking out the front door and fishing in beautiful Colorado. Sitting on the deck with your morning coffee and gazing at the water. No per person fees, no pet fees and extra amenities for you and your group. Propane always provided

Guestbook comments from the owner

We were in awe the first couple of days. The area is quiet yet close enough to area attractions. Lots of space and your layout of the house is great. Fourteen of us and your kitchen upstairs still provided enough space to "hang out" and cook! Thank you for helping out in our vacation planning and have already booked for next summer!

exceptional value for the space

Now I understand why your calender is so full. The house is well maintained, clean and lots, lots of space. Mom and Dad insisted on a fire every night (lots of wood) so we didn't need to buy it like in previous rentals Dad took the kids down daily for fishing in the boat, and Mom and I took off to Cripple Creek twice; no luck, but a great time. Massive home with lots of space for the children to play, and witnessed the deer strolling through every morning. Views were spectacular, and have recommended to friends in Tacoma. We didn't need out of state fishing license nor the poles which was extra pleasant since we flew in to COS. Dad is planning a man retreat next summer!!

very nice home and the bonus for us were the views and free fire wood!!

Twelve in our mini get together for the week. This house had it all. Two high chairs, two pack and plays, plenty of dishes and a boat load of towels. The month of January here had unseasonably warm weather and we took advantage of it. We had 5 little ones and 7 adults and still left over space. Nightly fires with a nice stack of cut up wood out front for us to load up daily=) We are looking forward to coming out again next year and still working out the details. If you want a nice location, lots of space an extra amenities this place has it. We wanted special movies ordered from their Cable and when we contacted Catherine, she was able to do that for us immediately! Thank you from Felicity and Matt Washington DC

location, price and all comfortable amenities

our first ever visit for autumn colors in CO. We had 12 in our group with two little yorkies. The house had plenty of blankets, towels, BIG kitchen, two refrigerators (all filled up on arrival!) Saved money on kennel with the owners having a love for their animals (this is the place for next year). House is large and accommodated our grandparents downstairs with their own section of the house. Fishing was excellent the first day with poles here on arrival.

We don't get together enough but this mini get away is what the doctor ordered.

This place was perfect for all the local tourist attractions, yet far enough away for rest and relaxation. The fishing was remarkable, we caught as many trout as you could possibly eat. The main kitchen was very user friendly and well equipped. The downstairs kitchen was nice for the guest staying down there to keep food and drinks nearby. Plenty of hot water for the party of 20 that we had. Abundant bedding and room for all to stretch out and relax. Ages 3 to 67, we all had a great time. Oh, don't forget the wildlife, the deer grazing in the yard was a joy for all to see, we even saw a bald eagle fishing in the lake! We are already talking about coming back...

plan a beautiful family reunion in the Colo. Mtns!

  • 5 of 5

We had our 40th anniversary gathering here and couldn't of been more pleased with this home and the lake. First visit on vacation internet booking and everyone agreed the best gathering we have had (including affordability). This house had a double cook oven, double grills, back up propane tanks and the best layout. Plenty of out door seating and the kitchen had plenty of dishes. Wife and I stayed at this location most of the time to relax and fish. Others in our gathering chose touristy attractions and had a blast. Should you come to Colorado to visit I recommend this area of beautiful Colorado with the lake and Mountains. We did take the Wild life wolf park tour which shouldn't be missed and one night up in Cripple Creek for some gambling. Nice old mining town with history, and a lot of casinos. We stayed four nights and wish we would of all had additional time off from life and responsibilities. Clean, maintained, follow up on emails, quickest return on damage deposit and exceptional location. If you like nature and still being close to attractions this is the location.

We ate one evening at the Mexican Restaurant in Woodland Park a bit pricy but tasty. Best margaritas we've ever had. Thank you for your hospitality and use of your home for our anniversary,

Milton and Margaret

accurate, magnificent, well maintained, clean and just the location is stunning

we saw that your listing had high ratings over an eight year period on this site, and found this on two other well know sites with high ratings. All true and accurate. Upon our arrival and walking in the front door we were excited!! House updated, large, and with the sunny days here in Colorado we couldn't of been happier sitting on the deck. Saw deer, elk crossing road about a mile from your home and two foxes during our stay. Our oldest grandson spent hours playing on swing set and exploring the area (8 yrs old and never visited Colorado). What a beautiful quiet rested stay and appreciate prompt responses from emails and follow up phone calls when we had many questions. Nervous doing on line anything these days and will not ever rent a hotel room again after this experience. Margaret, George and family
