House, 4 Bedrooms, 4 Baths, (Sleeps 8)

Our luxury home sits on a double plot overlooking a stunning lake and golf course. The house has a beautifully designed spacious interior which has a calming holiday feel in keeping with the tranquil lakeside location.

Rotonda is a beautiful deed restricted community within a short drive to some wonderful unspoilt Florida beaches including Gasparilla Island, Englewood, Manasota Key and the exclusive island of Boca Grande where the rich and famous vacation!

There are four golf courses on Rotonda - the closest, Long Marsh, is within a 5 minute drive. Tennis courts are also available free of charge.

Our home boasts many features designed to make your vacation as comfortable and enjoyable as possible including the following:

Den with flat screen TV - cable channels.

Free Wi-Fi.

Two master suites with queen size beds and TVs and bathrooms with jacuzzi baths and large separate showers. Each suite has access to the extended lanai.

The twin room and bunk room has an interconnecting bathroom. Additional shower and toilet with access to pool area.

The pool and spa have solar heating - electric heating for the pool is an optional extra.

The extended south-west facing pool deck is bathed in sunshine all day and has 4 comfortable sunbeds, chairs and large dining table to seat 8 . The deck is quite private and secluded and the golf course is situated beyond the lake.

Also available is a BBQ and the use of cycles (at guests own risk).

Tampa Airport is approximately 1.5 hours drive. Sarasota and Fort Myers are approximately an hour's drive away. A little further afield are Orlando (approx 2.5 hours) and Miami (approx 3.5 hours)

Must see attractions include the Mote Aquarium (Sarasota) Busch Gardens (Tampa) and the Everglades (approx. 2 hours drive).

Port Charlotte Town Centre is a 20 minute drive and has a wide selection of shops (including Hollister and American Eagle!) and many restaurants.

Port Charlotte Stadium, the Tampa Bay Rays spring training ground, is en route to Port Charlotte Town Centre.

There are plenty of supermarkets in the vicinity and a wide range of restaurants to suit all tastes and budgets.

We have visited the Rotonda area for the past 20 years and built our house in 2001 - our children have grown up spending many happy days there during their summer holidays and we all still love to visit as often as we can.

This year was the 3rd. year we have stayed at this wonderful Villa. In a very quiet peaceful location, over-looking both water and the Golf Course. The Villa is both extremely well located but yet very accessible to all the local facilities - supermarket, restaurants, Wallmart and 5 Golf Courses, all within 10 minutes drive !!
Rotonda is also a very convenient location to visit other areas of the Gulf Coast- Naples, Captiva Island, Boca Grande, Venice etc..
Most of all the villa is just a very enjoyable place to be. It is both very well equipped and comfortable, with the feeling that you are very privileged to be staying in such superb home.
We will look forward to returning next year !!

This lovely Florida home was just as described on the VRBO site. It was clean and plenty of room for our large group of 9 women. The large lot and location at the end of the cul de sac was very peaceful and we enjoyed our daily walks. The pool was beautiful, clean, and warm!
We loved the convenience of being so close to the Rotonda golf courses and easily made it early for our tee times. We even took a golf break and drove to Venice Beach, just a short distance away, and found it to be absolutely gorgeous. Also enjoyed a great Mexican restaurant in Venice, Mi Pueblo. The only other restaurant we visited was Prime Time in Englewood that was always very good.
We would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a great house in Rotonda and the owners were great to work with.
