There is one intersection on Captiva and nearly everything you will want is between you and Andy Rosse Lane. Companies on Captiva Island are available for kayaks, waverunners, boats, bait etc. This property is located between South Seas Resort and Tween Waters Inn and excellent restaurants within walking distance. It is actually shorter to walk along the beach and catch the sunset to dinner. Have a sunset dinner or drinks at the Mucky Duck. A small grocery carries a reasonable selection. Golf is available at nearby resorts and communities.

Captiva Sunrise is located on Roosevelt Channel opening out to Pine Island Sound near Tween Waters Inn (host of numerous fishing tournaments). Deep water dockage is available for an additional fee. Your boat is visible from nearly every room and only a short walk past one building to yours. Wake up and head out! After a great day, return to the peace and solitude of Captiva Sunrise. Non-anglers will be busy with all of the other things that there are to enjoy on Sanibel-Captiva Islands. The kitchen and the grill are well equipped to help you enjoy your catch. Nearby Islands accessible by boat include North Captiva Island, Cayo Costa State Park, Cabbage Key, Useppa Island, Pine Island and Gasparilla Island. You will drive by J. Ding Darling Wildlife Refuge on Sanibel Island. It is one of many places to enjoy the bountiful wildlife that inhabits or visits the coast. Drive, bike, walk, kayak and take lots of pictures. If you rent or bring a boat, the nearby islands are a treasure.
