Location::
This Chalet is located in a town called Hampton in upstate NY in the Adirondacks. You are less then 10 minutes to the town's Supermarket/shopping Plaza. It is also within 1/2 hour to Lake George Village, Large Outlet shopping mall & Six Flags Great Escape Theme Park and Water Park. Come and experience your own piece of Heaven!!! This is a fresh water lake and approximately 80 feet deep. The lake was stocked many years ago with different kinds of fish. We have Lake trout, Brown trout, Bass, Sunny, Perch and probably some others we haven't yet caught. It is also great and refreshing to swim. Since there are no motors of any kind allowed in the lake it is quiet a safe for swimming as well. The water is 'fresh' water so it is very clean and clear. It is fairly warm to swim in and is fed by warm springs. We have a beautiful beach area & a 12' X 16' dock to sit, fish or jump off of. Take a beautiful walk down to the lake or thru our hiking trails-No Motor Boats, ATVS/QUAD Allowed.
Ski:
Their are about 4 major ski areas within 30 to 40 minutes drive. Killington,piko and Okemo are about 1/2 hour away and Gore and West Mountain are about 40 minutes away.
Golf:
Their are several 18 hole golf courses and driving ranges in the immediate area. Within 10 or 20 minutes you can be at a 3 or 5 par 18 hole golf course.
