We love this place this is the 3rd time we have been to the Ambiance villas in Cancun but the 1st time with Laura at this condo as we have always booked through the hotel in the past. The condo was amazing very spacious and clean with fantastic views off all 3 terraces. The huge terrace off the living room was great for evening drinks and relaxing while watching the sun go down. The beds were very comfy and there was plenty of towels in the condo for us. Laura was very friendly and helpful she was only a phone call away if we needed anything. If you prefer to cook whilst on vacation the kitchen is fully equipped with a microwave, coffee maker, toaster, oven and grill. Great value for money in an amazing location we will be going back next year and booking this condo again.
Restaurants
We love to go downtown as it is a fun place to be, for great traditional and very cheap Mexican food try Pik Nik off av. Tulum (av. Tulipanes) get off bus R1 at burger king it is the 1st restaurant on the right great for people watching whilst enjoying the fantastic very fresh food. Also down the same alley is Portoles which do great tacos. Both places do 2 for 1 margaritas and beer. Then walk to Parque de las Palapas for fun shopping and entertainment (free salsa class Sundays at 7pm). It is very safe and buses run every few mins from the Ambiance villas.
Laura recommended Bovinos it is a Brazillian Churrascaria it is at Av Yaxchillan by Costco (easiest way is to go downtown on the R1 and get a cab from Av. Tulum) the food is amazing as is the service, go very hungry you will eat a lot, it is under $30 for dinner, well worth it we went 3 times in the 15 days we were there. It is the best Charrascaria I have ever been to their website is www.bovinoscancun.com
In the hotel zone we went to the Crab house and had an amazing meal (Laura also recommended this place too) great lagoon views outdoor deck and fantastic fresh seafood.
