National Geographic Traveler recognizes Holden Beach as the 9th best family beach in the U.S. 2 full baths and 3 bedrooms. Guests are asked to supply their own linens. Enjoy a comfortably furnished living/dining room and fully equipped kitchen. This cottage boasts large bi-level decks, big windows, boardwalk to a seating area, outdoor shower, stairs to the beach, washer/dryer and outdoor grill. Wireless internet connection is included. Golf courses, good restaurants, antique shops and bookstore are close by. Children and adults will enjoy collecting seashells, flying kites, crabbing and fishing. In August, help the baby turtles return to the ocean. No smoking or pets, please. Larger families, inquire about renting the other side of duplex (Westside).

Rocking Chair Rapture: The rocking chairs on your back porch were such a thoughtful touch. We spent so much time just enjoying the surf, the gulls and at night we could so so many stars! Shell-a-licious!: Thank you Judy and Alan once again for opening your home for our family reunion. We rented Eastside and Westside and the kids ran around from beach to shower to beach. The kids collected shells in the morning and we loved watching the volunteers work with the turtles. We played volleyball, we grilled and most of all, we relaxed. Golf: Holden Beach is a golfer's paradise. There are 30 to 40 courses within a half hour. If your family will tolerate it, you could play golf every day in a different place for a month. Enjoy!
