This beautiful, newly renovated home is the perfect gathering place for family or friends. 1-1/2 miles of protected beach and duneland just steps from back door. Huge, 2-story screened in porch, gourmet kitchen, 3 dining areas and 2 seating areas afford spacious comfort. Great value-- half the price of Union Pier rentals with far less congestion.

Grand Mere State Park: Home located inside protected Grand Mere State Park which includes 1 1/2 miles of untouched Lake Michigan beach and duneland, as well as 2 smaller lakes. During week days you can walk on beach for an hour and see very few people. On weekends, 1-1/2 miles of beach insures space and privacy for all beach goers.

Surrounding Area: Enjoy miles of country roads perfect for antiquing, biking, wine tasting and fresh picked produce. St. Joe is a scenic 20 minutes away and offers cultural and kid-friendly activities, Silver Beach, museums, charter fishing and lovely stores, restaurants and ice cream parlors. Many local festivals and fairs.

Local Restaurants: Choose from a variety of non-chain, locally owned restaurants. Tosi's and Grand Mere Inn are nearby favorites. Don't miss Pigs ice cream in Union Pier for a one of kind experience.

Perfect location close to the lake

The Grand Mere neighborhood where this house is located is quiet, very close to the lake with lots of trails and dunes for walking. The house has a great kitchen and very nice screened porch and is the perfect place to get together with family. There was plenty of space for everyone to sleep very comfortably. We so appreciated the home being pet friendly as our small dog loves the dunes and the beach. We will definitely be back next year.

Loved our week at the beach!!!

Nice quiet place for a family to relax. We stayed with our family which included 3 teenage boys and 3 younger children. My 17 year old son asked the last day "why is everyone so nice here?".
Nobody was bored. Not as crowded as Michigan City, or similar, more popular places, and much more reasonable. Nice quiet neighborhood. Didn't even know we had neighbors.
The house is beautifully redone. I have always said that a well appointed kitchen makes or breaks a vacation house. This one does not disappoint. Love the screen porch.
It is an older home with some of the older home charm. Some of the doors stick a little, and some of the bedroom furniture is dated, but the downstairs living areas are all wonderfully remodeled. Love the floors. Calvin and Hobbes books are a big hit.
Beach is great. Wish they would rebuild the stairs down to the beach. The sand was a tough climb up.
The owner is a pleasure to work with.
Did the winery tour and Captain Mike's Fun Zone. Also Oink's ice cream.
I would highly recommend this for families with kids of any age.
