Beautiful 4,000sf fully furnished 4 story villa on the grounds of Dorado del Mar Golf & Country Club. Gated elegantly manicured community with excellent 24hr security. Pool, putting green, & tennis courts shared by villa. Beach/ Casino/Spa/restaurants/bars of the Embassy Suites Hotel accessible & located within walking distance. Golf the Chi Chi Rodriguez designed golf course outside the back door. Eat meals, barbecue, & relax below the shady tropical vegetation of the private patio on & with spectacular views of the golf course. Sunbathe or watch the sunset from the rooftop terrace. Enjoy time with family/friends watching a movie on the large flat screen TV & surround sound system. The ground level has a fully equipped kitchen, dining, living, & family room, half bath, & patio. There are 4 master bedroom suites each with private full baths and verandas. 20-35 minutes from San Juan airport & Old San Juan. Beaches and local & franchise restaurants & vendors are plentiful & nearby

Transportation & Local Vendors: Recommend renting a car at the airport. There are multiple rent-a-car locations located within the airport . Taxis are also available. The villa is located 20 miles from San Juan Airport via major highways.

Just outside the Dorado del Mar gated community and within walking distance are a multitude of shops including grocery stores, ice cream parlors, Movie Theater, chain pharmacies, retail, video rentals, fast food restaurants, local eateries, and higher end restaurants specializing in Puerto Rican foods, seafood, and meats. There is a well equipped Gym with new equipment, boxing ring, and track within close proximity and available at a nominal fee.

Dorado is located on the north coast of Puerto Rico just 35 minutes from San Juan, Old San Juan, & just far enough from the hustle and bustle of city life to relax and take in the tropical lifestyle & surroundings of this small quiet town. It's location on the island is ideal as it's central to popular sightseeing spots. The Villa is located within a private gated community with 24 hour security in addition to having its own gate & security at the entrance to the complex. The pool, putting green, & tennis courts are steps from the front door. The golf course is outside the back door, & the beach is an easy, flat 5 min walk away. New Casino at Hotel next door opening 1/2011. There are multiple restaurants, grocery store, & 24 hour pharmacy within a mile of the Villa. In addition there's a well equipped Gym nearby. Outlet shopping 30min away. The weather is incredible, the water is pristine, the people are friendly, & the food is delicious

Our group consisted of 9 adult women ranging in age from 25-62. We all loved the villa. It is in a nice central location for day trips around the island, especially Old San Juan, snorkeling trips and fishing. It is approximately a 2 hr drive from Fajardo where we enjoyed a kayak trip to a luminescent bay (very exiting) as well as other beaches. The villa has many rooms condusive to conversation, an often used laundry room, and 5 bathrooms which were much appreciated by all 9 women. The villa is well equipped with all necessary appliances, furniture, dishes, etc. It is also nice to have the congierge service available at the Embassy Suites nearby. We all thoroughly loved our stay at the villa. Elizabeth is very cordial and makes sure that you are happy. We can't wait to visit again.

Wow! All I thought it would be and more!

My brother and I arranged a trip to Puerto Rico for my parents' 40th anniversary. There were 9 of us who stayed at the villa all ranging in age from 11-58. The villa was huge and allowed for everyone to have their own space. There was nothing that we needed at the villa that wasn't already provided. The book that Elizabeth left and the pictures in the cabinets were wonderful!! The villa is in a perfect location in Puerto Rico - the area was nice and we were able to get to places around the area very easily. We loved all the patios off of the bedrooms. We spent many mornings on the patios overlooking the golf course. The walk to the Embassy Suites beach and casino was very short...the casino was awesome - smoke free!! My son was able to meet a friend who lives in the villas and was able to play on the golf course which he loved. We all had a fabulous time. If I had a dollar for every time I heard my dad say - this villa is so cool, or awesome...I would be rich. He loved the architecture and arrangement of everything. Elizabeth was wonderful to work with - she was quick to answer my many questions and always gave thorough answers and also was a great resource and gave many great suggestions. Thank you Elizabeth for a wonderful place to stay!

Great rental spot in Puerto Rico!!!

This 4 story villa was awesome. All the bedrooms (4) had their own full bathrooms. The view was great from the bedroom windows. Very quiet and we had the pool all to ourselfs most of the time. The 24 hour security was great and polite. Property was well maintained and very clean. The owner was great, she was very informative about the surroundings, and was always a phone call away if we needed her. I highly recommend this beautiful villa to any family or group of friends looking for a nice place to rent. We didnt golf, but we did go to the casino. Even the town was great. Dorado is one of the cleanest towns in Puerto Rico. The only thing I didnt like was that when we ran out of beer we had to drive to the supermarket, its a very long walk from the villa to the shopping area. Other then that it was a great place.
Recommended for:  Girls Getaway, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children
Owner's Response: The nearest grocery store is in the shopping center just outside the gates of the private community within wich the Villa is located. It is a 1 mile drive.

After our family's visit during President's week, I told Elizabeth that I WANTED to make some comments. Then I went to the comment page, read all the other comments and thought...what more can I possibly add. Elizabeth has thought of everything to make a guest-visitor feel at home. There were 9 of us ranging in age from 3 to 70..my husband and me, our daughter, son-in-law and their sons,(ages 11 and 15) and our son, daughter-in-law and their daughter (age 3). The accommodations were so spacious that we never felt crowded. The kitchen was perfect, and every appliance we needed was there. The large gas grill outside on the patio got a lot of use. We also loved the balconies, great for sunning and/or reading. How nice that there were sand toys for the little one. The activities and information book, or should I say tome, held all the data that we could possibly need in order to know what, why, where, when, and how. It was wonderful that Elizabeth called us to see if everything was what we expected and if we need anything. I highly recommend renting her wonderful villa. A great location, minutes from the airport, and just a very short walk to the beach. Thank you, Elizabeth for being so thorough.

All I can say is WOW!!! My fiance and I decided to be married at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Dorado PR last year. We rented villas for all of our friends and family within Villas de Golf, 7 in total. Elizabeth was the first person we spoke to and I am so glad. She was overly helpful about everything right down to where to get my hair done for the wedding. Her villa is exceptionally clean, which I loved, stocked with everything and anything you could possibly need for a 10 day stay and beautifully decorated. I saw 6 other villas within the same complex and I can honestly say that this one was the best. It was a little bit larger than the rest, very well kept and had a beautiful view of the golf course. Our favorite part of the vacation was grilling on the back patio while we watched the golfers pass by. We can not wait to go back!!! We will definitely be staying here when we do :) THANK YOU SO MUCH ELIZABETH!!!!!
